Can you explain the scent? I’ve read reviews that say it’s bad and some say it’s great but no one has explained the scent: lavender? Patchouli?Citrus?

I never took much notice before - and I have used it for years. Having taken a sniff, I would say that it is a light lavender scent. I find it pleasant. But to each his own. I just like the soap because it is long lasting, does not melt away in the soap dish, and unlike some other soaps, when used on my face does not make it feel dry.

I used to buy this soap by the case to get it cheaper. It has a forever shelf life. The in shower life is very short I can tell you that. They made the bars smaller and prices higher. A little 3 ounce bar won't get you far for $5.00. I can't find it anywhere now except Amazon. I used to get deals at Walgreen's, but they discontinued it.
