I have dry eye. My eye doctor said sleeping under a ceiling fan is contributing to my dry eye even with my eyes closed. So I now as part of my bedtime routine I apply an eye ointment to my eyes and I bought this sleep mask to keep the fan from blowing on my eye. I never used a mask before and wasn't sure I would like one at all. I am delighted to say I love this mask and wish I had done this sooner. It is sooooo soft and comfy that I don't even realize I have it on when sleeping. It blocks out 100% of light and the ceiling fan blowing down. The band is adjustable but it fit right out of the package. It weighs nothing. The instructions said wash before using so I hand washed it in the sink and it took a few hours to dry. I will order a second one so I'll have one to wear as the other dries. You can open your eyes and blink while wearing it without interference but why would you. Not cheaply made. This is a very good mask.

If I didn’t wear a CPAP mask it would work better. It is definitely comfortable. Nice and soft and recessed at the eye locations. Very light weight and keeps out all light.

This product blocks out all the light, which is exactly what we needed. My two daughters can’t sleep with any light at all, and with this they can sleep even in full daylight. The fit works for all sizes and is easy to adjust. The material feels comfortable and stays in place. Highly recommend if you need total darkness for better sleep.

I’ve tried a few sleep masks before, but this one is much more comfortable, especially for side sleeping. It doesn’t press too hard against the eyes and blocks out light really well. The material feels soft and lightweight, so it doesn’t feel heavy during the night. The adjustable strap helps it stay in place without feeling too tight. The only small downside is that it can shift slightly if you move a lot in your sleep, but overall it does its job very well. If you’re a side sleeper and sensitive to light, this is a great option.

2nd UPDATE 11/30/25 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just bought an additional pair of these for a friend who had trouble sleeping. They were elated and said the fit and comfort was exactly what they had been searching for in other sleep masks. They agreed the silicone nose bridge was the finishing touch on making these exceptional masks. I'm still wearing mine every night and still impressed with how much quicker they help me fall asleep. There's no feeling of tightness or constriction, they're just very soft and comfortable and 100% light blockage. I updated my title to "Perfect" (from Almost..) because the issue I had with long eye lashes simply isn't a problem. I've become used to these quickly and wouldn't exchange them for any others. Great masks and perform and outperform others costing double or more. UPDATE 10/07/25 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ While I favor the MZOO brand eyemasks (reason noted following) I have worn this mask for the past 2 weeks in order to give it a fair review. What I like: There's a skirt around the nose section which helps to totally block out the light. It's a very soft fabric and is not taught so it doesn't pressure anywhere. The mask is comfortable and I'm usually asleep within minutes when there's a total blackout. The elasticated band is adjustable but does not require to be tight and so I have zero issues with that. I've worn these laying on my back and on my sides. I've had no issues with overall comfort. I have not tried them laying on my front (I can't sleep on my front so other reviewers opinions on that aspect welcomed over mine) What I don't like: I wish the eye cup area were twice as deep. It's just a tiny bit irritating that my long eyelashes can constantly feel the material in front of them. (This is the one and only reason I prefer the MZOO brand which I have no such issue) I feel the material in front of my eyes not only when I blink but even with my eyes closed. However it's not enough of an issue to stop me from wearing them and it certainly hasn't impacted my sleep. Overall, for the low cost (and excluding the eyelash issue I have), these eye masks definitely rate top in comfort and 100% light blockage. I've changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars because after 2 weeks testing they are almost perfect for my nightime wearing (98%). Original Review ~~~~~~~~~~~~ I found these MABAO masks very comfortable to wear. My current mask (MZOO brand) was obtained from Amazon some years ago. It is flawless and the standard by which I gauge other masks by. I saw this brand and style and after reading reviews I thought it would be perfect and it's also a lot cheaper. In fact it is perfect in every way except for one thing... The eye pockets are a little too shallow and when wearing it and opening my eyes, my eyelids brush against the material. That can be irritating... I have no such issue with the MZOO brand (which Amazon still sells). The MZOO has a deeper eye pocket and I can open/close my eyes without any interference. Other than the eye pocket issue, this MABAO mask is in every other way perfect. The curtain of material that covers the nose more than adequately stops any light bleed. While wearing them during the day, the light is 100% blacked out and I do mean 100%. Not a glimmer of light gets through. Additionally, due to the soft "memory foam" and the material covering it, these are extremely comfortable to wear all day/night. I've been wearing them a few days now and I have no issues with the mask slipping no matter how I sleep. There's no pressure from the strap, no issues with the buckle on the strap etc. They're very comfortable. I just wish the eye pocket had been a little deeper and I'd have given them 5 stars. In the mean time, as my old MZOO mask has been in use every day for quite a number of years, I've just ordered that specific brand as a spare. Not that the old one is worn out but it can't last forever. In the mean time, I would certainly use this MABAO brand which are almost half the price. I have to say, for the price, the MABAO are an incredibly well made and comfortable mask, just that one issue I mentioned. If you have short eyelashes, you'll likely never experience any problem with them at all but if you have long, you might want to consider the MZOO.

Even though it arrived late, it is a great product. Material is thick yet soft, it fits my adult male medium size head in the mid range of adjustability. It is very comfortable and completely blocks all light. The price was reasonable. I rarely give five stars, but this product deserves it..

Good price, very comfortable and dark. helps me alot. Packaging is excellent, it's easy to adjust.

Works great. I have light colored blinds in my bedroom so it lights in a lot of light early in the morning. It used to wake me up. The sleep mask makes it completely blacked out so you can sleep without waking up to the sunlight. It is very soft and the strap allows you to keep it loose, but still cover your eyes. I highly recommend one, especially for the price.

I have tried cheaper sleep masks and find they put pressure on my eyes, making my vision funky first thing in the morning. Not fun. This does not. I work nights and even decent curtains leak enough light to be annoying. This lets me sleep for 7 or 8 hours without being stabbed in the eyes by afternoon sunlight. And it's PURPLE. So that's awesome.

Ich benutze die MABAO Maske jetzt seit etwa einem Monat, und bin eigentlich recht zufrieden damit. Man kann damit definitiv als Seitenschläfer schlafen, ohne dass sie verrutscht oder sonst irgendwie stört. Allerdings blockiert sie Licht nicht 100%ig, da unten am Nasenflügel trotzdem etwas Licht eintritt. Man kann natürlich die Maske fester an die Nase andrücken, aber dann reibt sie an den Wimpern entlang, was eventuell störender ist. Gute Maske, aber nicht perfekt, darum nur 4 Sterne.
