This straight soba noodle base provided great flavor while being very convenient to use. My bottle arrived with a very near expiration date though so I made sure to use it promptly. I enjoy that being a straight base I didn't need to dilute it and it was ready to go after allowing to chill in the refrigerator. I was worried about it potentially being too salty but it is prepared well and paired fantastically with the noodles I prepared. It is quite expensive for the amount of product received but I am willing to repurchase simply because of the good delivery on flavor and convenience.

I love this soup base for cold soba, its really good, but I got it on 6/2025 and its going to expire on 7/2025. So I only have a month to use it, disappointing.

My daughter ordered this for her Japanese noodles. It's straight. This means you do not have to add any water. When I lived in Japan, I also found this premaid soups helpful. I would buy the soup that you can add water to. This bottle is pour and eat. Very easy. Tastes great. For the value, I think it's expensive. I would order a soup sauce that I can add water to. The taste is the same.

I decided to try this, I've never had soba before and I really wanted to try it. Cut up some spring onions into the broth and I let it sit for a few minutes together. Was so good I made 2 bowls!
