I originally brought the Uproot Xtra because I wanted the extended handle. I was pleasantly surprised how well it did on different fabrics and actually picked up fur (though my Dyson vacuum is really good and doesn't leave fur behind, I had coins to spend and the Uproot is fun to use for nolvety but not necessarily a need) I bought the other Uproot set to use in other areas but I've noticed that the scraper on each tool is different. The scraper on the Xtra is bigger and because of this it is much smoother on fabrics vs the handheld Uproots that have smaller scrapers and seem to pull and rip at fabrics. I tested it with a knock off Uproot that also pulls at fabrics and it's basically the same. I wish the larger scraper was also available in the smaller handheld tools as well. Overall, the tool works well if you have a crappy vacuum and need something that's cheaper than a good vacuum to keep fur off places. But be warned it only works on certain fabrics

No dislikes. I did have to learn how to get the best results and fine tune my angle as I combed my rug, but even that wasn’t hard. The specs give clear instructions on types of fabric to avoid during use. I went ahead and used it on the edge of my rugs which have threads and I could tell it would ruin the edge if I kept going. This goes to show that they did a great job of clearly communicating expectations. I appreciate this. As for the hair removal, it does the job! I plan on using this frequently and I’m happy with my purchase. Oh, I also tried to comb my dogs hair with it. He’s a mini Aussie. Tons of hair. It only grabbed the top layer of loose hair. If I repeated the process a million times he would be well combed, but I didn’t have time for that and it wasn’t the reason for my purchase. So, I don’t recommend using it for this purpose. Great product though! Very happy!

Treat every fabric or surface as delicate and be careful using this at a 45 degree angle. It can tear. But I received the set and immediately tried it out. We have 2 cats and a dog and these tools are easier than a squeegee, but not effortless. They definitely take up more hair and fur than a vacuum or squeegee method, but you really need to be careful. I ended up using the 90 degree method almost exclusively because on our cat tree, trying the 45 degree did result in pulling some of the pile off. I would recommend. Wish this whole set had a long handle as crawling around on my hands and knees to do carpets is not my idea of fun. For nearly $50, I would have thought the "set" included that as well.

I was pretty impressed be this little gadget. It cleaned the cat hair from several chairs and the carpet much better then I expected. It seems to be very quality item. For the price and the kit that I bought, I am happy with the choice and will recommend it.

I expected this would be mediocre, and honestly thought I’d be leaving a review saying “buy a decent vacuum.” Well, after using a “Dyson Ball Animal 2 Pro” (a $700 vacuum), I decided to test this thing out. IMAGES - all areas were vacuumed (with the one mentioned above) prior to using this. Results are from this tool AFTER vacuuming well. Image 1 - small little landing. Video 1 - how quick and easy it is on the steps Image 2 - a very shirt 10X10 area rug. Does it pull up some carpet fibres? Of course it does; so does you vacuum. Does it ruin your carpet? Not by any means. 10/10 highly recommend Worth noting - I have a border collie and a shepherd, and vacuum at least every other day. I won’t use this every day, but once a week on ‘deep clean day’ it will be a life saver!

I bought 2 cheap ones and they both broke first time I used them then I spent the $$ to get the high end product! It’s amazing! I vacuumed 3-4 times then scraped the mat and the dog hair was unbelievable!!

I was hesitant to buy something I kept seeing ads for, but was pleasantly surprised when it worked. It was shocking how much hair was in our carpet even after vacuuming. I bought the 3 sizes, and so glad I did because I can use them everywhere… the carpet, rugs, the car, the furniture and even clothes! I’m impressed and keep telling all my friends with let’s about these tools!

Works great, but you have to be careful when brushing furniture as it can snag on certain materials.
