Been using for a year or so and it works well. It seals well, doesn’t leak, has good suction, doesn’t catch hair as much as one would think but that’s not why I bought this. It fits our tub, which is a typical tub/shower combo (prefab, standard tub insert). The color hasn’t faded or tarnished and it cleans really nicely.

This little item is perfect!! This was so easy and dropped right into my drain. It holds water, it looks beautiful. And I really needed something like this that fit and works with no stress.

The drain stopper in my large jet tub was one that you pushed one side down to close, and the other side down to open. It had always been a little tricky to get it to catch when pushing it to close. Last week, it came out completely, and despite my efforts, getting it reseated properly each time was very difficult. When I ordered this new drain stopper, it was so inexpensive that I figured there was a good chance it would not work. Boy, was that assumption wrong! I had already cleaned everything possible after the old one came out, and the installation of the new one could not have been easier. It literally took less than a minute. The open and close function is a huge improvement over my old one as you only push down in the center of this one for either action. No finagling to get the stopper to catch like my old one! After it was installed, I closed the drain, covered the bottom of the tub with water, and left the room. I still thought I might return to find that some or all of the water had leaked out. When I returned to check an hour later, I was ecstatic to find no leakage. The stopper had held firm. I pressed the top to open the drain and the water drained more quickly than when my old stopper (which had a longer core) was in place—another plus for the replacement! I am beyond elated that I was able to correct my issue for under $15, and that the piece looks and functions even better than the original bathtub drain! (I’ve included a pic of the installed drain, simple one-page instructions which shows removal and installation steps of the piece on multiple types of drains, and the two different rubber washers which are included).

This item works as intended. It fits seamlessly and looks holds water perfectly. My little one can pull it out which is annoying, I could probably find a way to permanently secure it to the drain but I'm not brave enough. If used only for shower it would look original to the tub.

So easy to install and use! Works perfectly in my tub. I have not experienced any leaks. The push button makes it simple to open or close as needed. Removing it is also painless - I can pull it out easily. This is exponentially better than those flimsy rubber stoppers that detach (and thus, defeat the purpose of using them in the first place).

Our builder-grade drain stopper was a twist-to-use model which broke after just a couple of months of regular use. I appreciate this stopper’s ease of use and effectiveness. No more janky twisting mechanism that only works sometimes. Just a quick push and this one closes or opens the drain without question. I like it.

Yes. We have an old tub (1962 cast iron) with old plumbing and this little guy worked like a charm. My drain has a single center screw that retrofit the holed "cover". No screw threads on the inner part of the drain. (Check for threads on your drain before you buy. I mistakenly bought a drain cover that was threaded the first time.) Follow instructions. Clean the inside of the drain well before installing. This comes with the black bottom flange attached and one extra. It also comes with a smaller white flange if the black is too big. Unscrew the top before pressing the fitted bottom in to ensure a tight fit. We can close our drain again! The push click function is super easy!

Had this lil doo-dad for a bit now and I've really liked it! Not only does it cover up the unsightly drain in my rental suite's bath, but does so without any concern about causing damage. It's really convenient to open and close too! What really surprised me is just how well it works without accumulating hair; I was sure it'd clog up fast and so far it's not even held on to a single strand. Easy to pop in right out of the box; easy to use. What's not to love?

I thought it would have had the word “push” on it that’s why I’m only giving 4 stars. However, the product itself is excellent and is doing what it needs to do. I was able to remove the old one and replace it with this one by myself. When my husband woke up and saw that I changed it, he was shocked and amazed ahaha.

Wow! Wanted to change the original chrome stoppers to have brushed nickel ones to match faucet. Looks great, fits and seals perfectly, so easy to install and remove for cleaning. Excellent quality for the price. Love it!

I love this thing. I can't believe I was putting up with those stupid rubber stoppers that look terrible and always fall apart. I put this into my tub drain and it fit perfectly and stops the water. It's true that popping it up to let the water out is very slow, but I just pull it out like I would a rubber one and put it back when the tub is drained. Looks great and works well. Recommended!
