Easy installation for Ring Pro 2. Adjustable angle enabled us to get the perfect view of our front stoop and walkway although our doorbell was installed on the perpendicular door frame. The angle mount piece included in the Ring package did not turn the camera lens enough, but this one can be adjusted and secured easily within its angle range. I like the mini-hood because we do not have a front porch and this part helps keep the rain off. I like that it’s white so it blends with my door trim better. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this for folks who need a different angle for their Ring Pro 2 doorbell than mounted flush or they could get with the Ring branded angle mount kit.

Older video Ring devices exposed to rain and wind began to fail; a new smaller video Ring fit in this protective device. Hopefully keeping the device dry and functioning. The larger device did not fit the protective cover.

I purchased this product primarily to reduce sun glare and UV damage to the front face of my Ring Video Doorbell. Although my front door faces south, the summer sun in the afternoon eventually shines at an angle that reaches the entire face of my doorbell.

I ordered this mount because it was supposed to be made specifically for my Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2. The item is made well, but, incredibly, the rain hood of this mount obscures a significant portion of the top of my doorbell video. When someone is close to the doorbell, their head is cut off by the rain hood. I thought that an item designed specifically for my doorbell would not obscure such a large part of the camera view. The main reason to buy the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 is that it has a much wider image looking up/down. What's the point of buying the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 with this wider image, only to have a large part of that wide image blocked by the rain hood on this mount? I contacted the seller, and they told me that this was the first that they had heard of this problem, and that nothing could be done to fix it. I thought maybe they could send me a new, smaller rain hood, but they could not, because they do not make a smaller one. So, if you’re planning on using this with a Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2, be prepared for having a significant portion of the video image obscured by the rain hood.
