First time using this product. It works well to give items an antique look. I purchased silver to use on items that are painted black. It is easy to use, but practice on a sample first to get the hang of it. A little goes a long way

Works well! Be careful to not splattering it around as it can leave stains.Easy cosmetic fix for stained (plastic) siver. Good coverage and easy to use.See pictures for before and after.. i was not able to clean it as some of it the silver layer dissolved but the color helps a lot and specifically from afar it looks soooo much better and doesn’t bother me anymore.. it’s a rental so I wanted an easy and cheap solution and that’s exactly that👍🏼

A little goes a long way! These tubes are small, but don’t let that deter you - a very small amount will go much further than you think. The metallic finish will give you a great depth of shine and dimension. The rub and buff has a nice thickness and spreads well. I would recommend wearing a glove or finger covering - but if you are in a hurry or forget, this will clean up and wear off skin quickly.

This Rub and Buff worked very well for my table. It seemed to renew the color and dried fast with a minimal odor. It was very easy to use.

I always used the gold tones. This is my first time with silver leaf. It's fabulous! I used it on an antique bed that is a combination of brass and iron. The iron was rusty in some spots. The silver leaf brought it back to a beautiful gleam. Very pleased.

I bought this product to add color to the etched glass designs on the personalized picture frames that I sell. I watched a tutorial on YT which explained how to achieve the look I want. If I had not seen this tutorial, I would most likely be another dissatisfied customer like many other reviewers. Luckily, because I already had an idea of how to use the product, the lack of directions/instructions wasn’t a big deal.Use of this product isn’t intuitive, however, so the seller really should provide directions for use. Even after watching the tutorial, my first few designs weren’t great. Supposedly you’re supposed to be able to apply the product and simply buff away the excess immediately. That is NOT the case.The product does dry quickly, but not super quickly. The best design I’ve done so far, I applied the product, watched an entire episode of Family Guy (from start to finish) and THEN I buffed away the excess. 30 minutes was probably about 5-10 minutes too long for my particular project as the buffing away step was a little bit challenging at that point, but the final product looked fantastic.So, I believe-, depending on the project, some amount of wait time is necessary before the buffing step. And, depending on the project, the amount of wait time is pretty variable depending on how much color you want. I’ve done some where, after buffing, all of the color was pretty much gone. And others that still had color but very light. The 30 minute wait before buffing gave me the look I want- I may have been able to achieve it at the 20minute mark with less challenges during buffing.This is a great product. It’s just not intuitive, so, again- the seller really should provide some sort of instructions because they are not on the tube at all.

Fantastisk produkt! Rub 'n Buff ger en otroligt snygg metallisk silverfinish och är mycket enkel att arbeta med. Trots den lilla tuben räcker innehållet förvånansvärt länge eftersom det bara behövs en mycket liten mängd per användning. Jag är extremt nöjd med resultatet och kommer definitivt att köpa den igen.

This stuff is amazing 👏 .My mirror was a dull gold colour and was wary of what product to use to change to silver. So easy to use and goes a long way only used about a third of the tube and the mirror is large and like a MDF material. Used my finger through a cloth and just rubbed the colour on until I was happy with the look and shine! Honestly I was scared to try it incase the mirror got ruined but im so happy with the result. Highly recommended product 👌

Impressive. arrived a tiny sized tube, but a little goes a long way. low to no fume, glides on. this is going to be fun to brighten up some beautiful but faded frames.
