Yarniss 17 Size Counting Crochet Hooks Set for Stitch & Row 2.5mm~14.0mm

So far seems good. I’ve been crocheting for over 60 years and I love the light. And I love the way you can interchange the hooks onto a single handle. Handle is comfortable in my hand. I love the storage bag that keeps everything together. I am a bit concerned about the smaller hooks as they seem very fragile. I now wish I had purchased the one that has the small hooks in metal. Very comprehensive size set.

This is a great Crochet Hook Set. The light is helpful with dim lighting and darker color yarn. The quality of the product is good with the hooks being a hard plastic that actually glide thru the yarn easily. Makes the crocheting speed faster for me when working on projects. The hooks are not heavy or bulky, and the size of the lighted handle is actually easy to use and comfortable.

I love having all of my hooks in one easy-to-carry little package, instead of having to organize a bunch of separate hooks in my toolkit. The ergonomic handles are comfortable, and the light makes working in suboptimal lighting (or working with black yarn!) so much easier. I also love that there is a row counter and a stitch counter. I don't use the stitch counter much, but the integrated row counter saves my sanity, as I'd been using a 20-sided die until I got this kit. The hooks are plastic, which is necessary for the light to work the way that it does, but this makes the smaller sized hooks flimsy. I haven't broken any of them yet, but I know that it's just a matter of time. They should make individual replacements that you can buy. Also, each of the hooks had a little bit of extra plastic at the top of the hook, like a seam. This causes the yarn to snag. Fortunately, I was able to use a nail file to remove it. My suggestions to the manufacturer: (1) consider making a version of this with metal hooks, and just have the light shine around the hook instead of through it; (2) make sure that the plastic is smooth with no bumps or seams; (3) offer individual hook attachments for sale, so that broken hooks can be replaced without having to purchase a whole new kit; (4) label the hooks with letter sizes as well as the numerical measurements, so that people don't have to look up what size they're looking for when a pattern calls for an H-sized hook. For the price, this is a great little hook set, and it's my go-to for standard hooks now. There are a few quirks, to be sure, and you have to be careful with smaller hook sizes (if you're working on a smaller project that needs high tension, I recommend just using a regular metal hook), but it's certainly worth it.

I purchased this crochet set on the recommendation of someone. I really like the package and I really like how the item will count your stitches and your rows and that the hooks light up. However, the first six hooks (2.5 thru 5) are mostly unusable because there is no way for the yarn to stay in the tip of the hook. Due to the tips not being molded correctly it’s impossible to keep the yarn on your hook. I kept trying over and over to use a few of the hook tips and it was so frustrating then I started really looking at the item and realized the tips were defective. So starting with Hook 5.5 onward, the hooks are usable, meaning the yarn will stay in place on the hook tip. The main thing I like about this set is that it has a row and stitch counter and that it lights up. Other than that, I probably would never have bought this set because it’s more frustrating than not.

Durability and smoothness of the crochet hook is awesome. Not heavy at all changing hook size is a breeze. I really like the way the stitch counter is at your finger tips. I highly recommend this crochet set.

Convenient little kit for amigurumi crocheting. Comes in a zipper case with 2.5mm to 13mm crochet hook attachments. I am using the 3.5 and it's very durable against tight stitches and thicker yarn. There is a tool to remove and replace each hook when different size is needed. Neatly packed in their own spots so no more shuffling thru the drawer or pouring out a bag to find the right hook size. Comes with a charger and 2 different handles. One with a ergonomic soft silicone and a larger plastic with smaller grip that includes digital stitch and row counter. The light is helpful since the entire hook end is lit up with 2 different brightness settings You can see even on dark yarn where your stitches are. Perfect for beginners or even more pro crochet.

The crochet hooks are wonderful. I appreciate the light but use the lower level. Very happy with my purchase. I charged it once and haven't recharged it despite using the hook for several hours. I also appreciate the row count.

This hook has a cool concept but overall it’s not easy to use. It’s probably good if you’re in the dark but other than that the grips not very good. You have to click every stitch and row which is a inconvenience. The plastic hook is not strong at all.

Great for crocheting with limited lighting. Came just as described.

I love this hook, the light is super handy and the stitch counter is a life saver for big projects, and it’s great that I have all the sizes available

For someone who crochets alot it is amazing and works so good, better then I expected, would recommend
