I have two, large Black Labradors, females. We have loved these awesome Hedge Hogs! Of course when you have two large dog children, like I do, we go through toys fast! However, these lil fellows last and last. Zippy Paws Hedge Hogs last much longer than other brands. After about 6 years, the Girls have gone through quite a few. When Mr Hedge Hog gets too beat up, I order two more. But...we still have the very first two I got for the Girls. And...they are still much loved, and played with by my Girls. Just a bit scruffy looking! :) :) I strongly recommend Zippy Paws Mr. Hedge Hog do toys! :) :)

My dog is OBSESSED with this toy , it is one of her favorites. I have bought 3. It is great quality, it’s easy for her to chew up and rip out the stuffing but i don’t mind i just want her to be happy. she also loves the squeaking noise it makes, its more like a honk

My dog received this as a gift when he was 12 weeks old. He is not 21/2 and it is definitely worn because it is still a favorite. He got this new one for Christmas and now he carries it around from room to room, plays with it and whows it to visitors.

This is our 4th hedgehog. Bought it for our German shepherd on January 8th so it arrived a few days after that. He just now has a hole in his face so I'd say he's pretty durable. (Those of you with German shepherds know what I'm talking about. ) Samson absolutely loves him and I will definitely order him another one when I come home to stuffing all over the living room. (The things we do for our dogs!)

What a great toy from Zippy Paws! We bought one years ago in a store and could not find another in retail stores. Our little girl, yes she is little, only 7 pounds, love the grunting sound it makes. Our old one grunted, but was difficult for her to do herself. This one is so easy for dogs to make it grunt. So this toy is not only for larger dogs.

I have been buying the same hedge hog from Zippy paws for years. This purchase did not realize I bought on that is 3 times the zise of the one I usuually buy. I have a toy size poodle mix and this is the only toy she will play with, UP UNTIL NOW> The honk scared her and sent her running to hide. I have cut it open removed the honker and took out 1/2 the stuffing so she can grab it . I has taken a few attmepts to get her to play with this and be reassured that it no longer made a horribel noise, Did't want to send back so had to make it work. Zippy paws are well made and this is the only brand she doesn't tear a hole in the 1st week. They are well made just be aware this big one has a honker not a sqeeker if your dog is sensitive. I will buy the smaller one the next time around. Great price for one this size it is big.

My dog stayed with my DIL/SIL while I went to visit friends for a week. I had taken a few of my dog’s toys for her to play with and her doggie host like one in particular…her hedgehog. There were some issues over sharing; so I decided to get the host dog a hedgehog of his own. I’m told that he been playing with it nonstop since he got it and carries it with him wherever he goes…including to bed. So far holding up and squeaker still works; so it appears to be a hit! (It was a bit larger than I expected; but good for a boxer!)

My dogs absolutely love this toy!! We typically purchase the zippypaws squirrel toys and they last a long time, but decided to go for something a little bigger. As much as they love this toy, I was really disappointed when they had ripped it open within the first 10 minutes.

My dog loves this. It is completely his favourite "friend". I got this as a spare, just in case the existing one is loved too hard.

This is my dog's favorite toy. It has no small parts that he can easily chew off. It is big and fuzzy and he can grab it with his mouth easily. He likes to clamp down on it when he's having a painful day. He is on his third one as he manages to chew them up eventually.

This is my dog's favourite toy. After 2 years, he destroyed his first one. So I got him this one to replace it. I swear the reason he likes it so much is the grunter.
