Don’t let the price scare you on this. I was hesitant to purchase this because the big box retailers similar product are a lot more expensive. But I said hey what the heck let’s see what happens. I’ve used this the entire time I have been using building a cabin and this thing has never failed. One thing to note, when you purchase this, make sure you purchase a can of the cleaning solvent. Very important! If you take the can off of this and are going to store it, you have to clean all of the foam spray out of this. I have kept a can on this in between uses for months and when I go to use it, it sprays out perfect. No problems at all.

It was so much fun using this foam gun for my attic insualtion prep. I had a ton of air sealing to be done and this gun did the job and more! For less than $20, you can't beat that!!! Big box stores had similar ones for over $40-$50. This is super reasonably priced and worked as expected. I had no issues with it at all. Just plug in the foam can and start spraying. The trigger was sensitive to pressure and controlled the amount of foam coming out. There was very little to no residual foam at the tip and you just keep moving on. Switching between cans didn't require using the cleaner and even overnight, the next day with the can still attached, i was able to pick right back up. I am so satisfied with this project, I am thinking of more ways i can foam around the house but I don't have much left to foam.

The gun seems well made and operates well. I bought the unit to place foam overhead in rim joist insulating panels. The major shortcoming is in using the supplied extension tube "straw": the straw continually popped off the barbed end of the discharge tube, creating 1- a mess, 2-frustration and annoyance, and 3-colorful language. The cleaning agent bought at the same time as the gun worked well, but is expensive. Tubing clamps or better barbs might improve the product.

Absolute junk, it exploded the can all over the trigger assembly some of it got where it was supposed to go but most exploded out the sides due to poor construction. Its a waste of materials and money.

Spend the money. Buy a good one.

This dispenser works as advertised. Gives you control of the flow and also doesn’t clog so you can get the most out of each can. Seems made well although I used for a week so far. I was able to clean up without the cleaner spray they recommend. Fine sandpaper for the tip where the pin opening is and a scraper for the metallic chrome nozzle. Extensions for the nozzle are including and help prevent the foam getting all over your hands and clothing. One week later if the dispenser gets blocked you can pull the trigger to the point it will move but slide past the bolt and not unlock it. This didn’t happen the first few times and it is fixable with some needle nose layers. As long as you can remove and replace the c-click holding it in place. If I had sealed it correctly in the first place this wouldn’t have happened. Read directions about storage so the pin doesn’t get jammed.

I can't say this is better or worse than the others. I wouldn't bother with foam cans. These guns work so much better and much more cheaply for the amount of foam. If you are going to buy one, you should always have a can of the cleaner before you try to spray. If you do, and follow directions and clean it well, then you can reuse the gun quite a few times. But if it clogs, it will stay clogged.

This dispenses the foam well. Just be super careful it is a fragile gun and can break easy. Especially if you are a little clumsy like me.
