Frustration solved
I bought this questioning the need. Now I wont go without it. At 2ml/gallon, this container holds a lot. I use a needless syringe for accurate 2ml, and a funnel to save what I dont use. There is no fungus nor root rot. It is clear with no odor. This saves a lot of frustration.

Great for hobbyists with hydroponics
I’m not a pro but use this product with 3D printed vertical tower gardens. If you are having issues with root rot or other root issues this will clean up a lot of problems and performs much better than using hydrogen peroxide or other chemicals that try to make the environment sterile. The price isn’t cheap but the performance warrants the cost and I’ve tried a lot of products in this space. Give it a try.

It’s effective
So far so good, I believe it really helped my strawberries developed good roots. The roots are all fresh looking white and my plants looks healthy. When I first started my hydroponics, I don’t have this hydroguard and all my strawberries died of root rot. I bought another batch of strawberries and after 3 days I can see the roots growing healthy white roots and my plants looks healthy and green. Highly recommended.

Its a must
If you don't have a water chiller , this stuff is a life saver . Ever since I started using it , I never get root rot . My temps can range from 67-75 ( or more ) in the middle of summer ( I do chill the water with small ice bottles when I can ) . I don't use very much at all , like 2- 3 mils per 5 gallons . Lasts forever . Im a firm believer that once the bacteria is established in your roots , you don't need to use much so that being said when I first start off , I might use 1-2 mils per gal. but after say 2 weeks I tone it down a bit . Happy roots bring happy fruits .

Good Product
I appreciate the product but they need a new bottling company. I bought CalMag and experienced the same bottle leakage as with this product. Shaking is impossible.

A Must Have For Living Systems..!!!
I grow using an RDWC system and recently switched from running sterile to using beneficials, and this product works great for that. The first time I used it was a couple of years ago when a friend suggested it to help prevent issues with slightly high water temperatures. At the time, I was running a sterile system and didn’t realize that it was counterproductive. The sterilizing agents in my system were actually killing the beneficial bacteria in Hydroguard. For anyone who started off like me and didn’t know this, now you do. This product is ineffective if you’re using any sterilizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), hypochlorous acid (HOCl), or bleach. It should only be used in a living system.

Bright White Roots, Happy Plants: My Experience with Hydroguard
I’ll be honest, I’ve only been growing hydroponically for about 8 months. When I first started, I made rookie mistakes, like putting my jalapeño seedlings in plain water without nutrients, hoping they’d grow. Since then, I’ve learned a lot. I now understand how crucial root health is for happy plants. There are many factors at play: light exposure to the water, temperature, pH balance, system cleanliness, oxygen levels, dissolved oxygen, and more. But even when you manage all these factors perfectly, root rot can still creep in. I won’t claim to have tried every root health product out there, Hydroguard is the first one I’ve used, but I can confidently say this: since I started using it, the roots of all my newer pepper plants have been bright white, healthy, and thriving. There’s no bad odor in the water, just that faint, fresh pepper plant smell! The "beneficial bacteria" in Hydroguard work wonders, breaking down organic material and preventing rot from taking hold, as I understand it. My roots are longer, stronger, and fresh-looking, and they stay bright white. If my plants are happy, so am I. A few tips: Hydroguard won’t fix roots that already have rot... it’s a preventative, not a cure. Start using it early with seedlings, and you’ll see the magic happen. Highly recommend Hydroguard for anyone in hydroponics. It’s been a game-changer for me!

Massive growth after adding this plant probiotic to my hydroponic system
I didn’t expect much from this plant probiotic until I saw how much my seedlings had grown. This picture shows my five-week-old Bok Choy growing in my hydroponic system. I added a tablespoon of the solution in the third week when they were still very small. Now it looks like I’ll be able to harvest them soon, before they run out of space to grow. I just tried a few of the leaves, and they were extremely tasty.
