Happy Little Accidents: The Wit & Wisdom of Bob Ross

Cute little book that made me smile. It was interesting to hear a bit about Bob Ross's personal life. Beautiful paintings shown.

It’s a good little book of quotes from Bob. If you are lost in life, this book could help if you take it to heart.

I've purchased 4 of these already and will most likely buy more. As a Bob Ross enthusiast, (I've watched hundreds of episodes and gotten "into him" very heavily over the last 7 years), my favorite thing about him were his quotes. This book contains a good mixture, of what I consider 3 categories of quotes - 1. about color / painting 2. deep life wisdom / thoughts and 3. totally random / funny. I wish there were more of the random / funny like one of my all time favorites - "There's nothing wrong with having a tree for a friend." But ultimately this a one of my favorite Amazon discoveries / purchases ever.

Very cute little book. Full color with lots of little quotes. This is a gift for my daughter, we both love Bob Ross. I can’t wait for her to see it.

I purchased this for a Bob Ross fan. She loves it, and all his familiar sayings. It’s well constructed and a great size. I would recommend.

A very quick read. It's more a picture book and then on the other page it has a quote from him and his shows. From smack the devil out of the paintbrush to happy little trees, all your favorite sayings are in this book. There are some very breathtaking paintings of his as well, and some of them play directly off of the quote that is provided. I would highly suggest this book to any Bob Ross fan, as it would make a great coffee table book, or even to use it as a quote a day and just leave the book open to that day's page and quote The book is a little bit small about 6x4 inches, but still I'd say it's worth it.

As a kid who grew up in a household that didn't have cable/satellite tv often there were times where I'd be stuck watching Bob Ross on rainy or lazy days. I say "stuck" as if it's a negative thing but it really isn't because I grew up watching his stuff and was always impressed with how easily his brush strokes could create whole environments from splotches of paint. Well a friend of mine is also a huge fan of Bob Ross even on the hunt for the Funko POP figure they made of him. Her birthday was coming up and I decided this would be one of two gifts I'd give her both because she loved his paintings and also his little tidbits of wisdom he would throw out there while in the midst of painting his works. That's basically what this book is, a small collection of his works and his words side by side from page to page and it's really well put together and the passages of his comments chosen are very heartfelt and inspiring even if you aren't a fan.

This is such an inspiring book. It gives you some detail on Bob Ross. From his childhood to his time in the military, and then his transition into being an amazing artist. The quotes were directly taken out of the show The Joy of Painting. Which i loved and appreciated every single one. If you’re having a bad day or just looking for a nice “ pick me up” or happy book this is it.

My friend is a big Bob Ross fan. Come birthday time I try to buy him something relevant and this is it. He loves it, therefore I love it and recommend it to Ross fans. Good quality for the price.

This is a small book that packs lots of punch. Each pages showcases one of Bob Ross' gorgeous landscapes. My 13-year old fell in love with him calming voice and watching as his images came to life. The book is a sweet collection of his memorable sayings, craftily curated with his paintings. I recommend this for people looking for a little pick me up, or sometimes need that sweet little reminder that every happy accident has a silver lining.

Bought for my daughter. She loves it. Very positive and heartwarming, great to pick up and read a few ever day.

Ein sehr schönes Buch mit Zitaten, Bildern und etwas Hintergrundstory zu Bob Ross. Habe eines behalten und das andere verschenkt, kam extrem gut an - der Beschenkte mochte Bob Ross generell sehr gern. (Gibt es überhaupt Menschen die Bob Ross nicht mögen?) Also ein kleines Give Away kann man damit sehr vielen Leuten eine Freude bereiten, seine Zitate sind gut gewählt und am liebsten würde man direkt eine Folge von seiner Sendung schauen. Let's build us a happy, little cloud that floats around the sky. :-)

After watching 'The Joy of Painting' on TV and being an enthusiastic painter, I decided to purchase this little book. It is excellent as it gives a good biographic background about Bob's life and work - then it follows with copies of Bob's painting with a little saying on the opposite page. Whether you are interested in art or simply looking for a little 'wit and wisdom' to cheer up your day, then this is the book to buy. Love it so much I have ordered another copy for a friend. A beautiful book that I (and my friend) will treasure.
