I’ve used this product for a while. It works really well. It is almost like it “erases” the muck.

This product works well when there is a coating and up to approx 1” of sludge. This is a great way to keep a new or recently cleaned pond free from build up. I’ve found that any sludge accumulated more than 1” is going to require either multiple treatment or vacuuming. Keep in mind as well that a healthy pond should have a certain amount of a bacterial coating of sediment.

I did not know there was such a thing as Muck Remover. I just cleared away debris and trees and ferns that had overtaken two small ponds on my property. The leaf debris in the ponds were very deep. I was able to remove some, but a lot remained. I bought these and tried them in the largest pond. Within five days I could see a big difference. I have now added a few more tablets and they are reducing the muck like magic. I will continue to use this product. It did not hurt the tiny fish or the tadpoles in the ponds. The water is nice and clear and I can see the muck is a lot lower than it was a week ago. Try this the way they reccommend, it works!

Product has very short sustainability limit. Only worked for me for a couple of days, then I had to re-add tablets at the recommended dosage. Too much money for a product that doesn’t work well.

About a week ago I was having a party and my pond was pretty much pea soup. It’s the dead of summer and I had run out of all of my algae reducing products. I got a bottle of these and expected them to be large, about the size of a large marshmallow. But they were actually like the size of small marshmallows or sugar cubes. I actually like the size better because it’s easier to distribute them around the pond. Anyway, after a week my pond water is almost crystal clear. I still can’t see the bottom and I’m sure there is still some sludge. But the pond water improved about 80% in one week. I have used a different brand of these previously. They were much larger and I did not see this much effect. So I would say I’m going to switch brands. I’m happy with these!

Bought this to reduce sludge and help re establish good bacteria in our 2k gallon pond. On first application, our Koi went into distress and water turned cloudy. We assumed the Bactria filters still needed to get established. Big water change and re application of tablets. Same thing within a day. One more water change with tablets after a week and boom - sick fish. We immediately did one more water change and no tablets. Happy fish! It’s been 2 weeks and the pond is in great shape and fish are back to healthy. Thank God we only added a light dose of the tables or the fish would have been floaters. Many of these are 30+ years old. May be good for fish less ponds. Don’t use if want your fish to live.

I put these in my rain water collector. It was getting pretty ripe and just using the water to put into a jug and water the plants was a stinky job. I dropped 6 of these into the barrel and within days the smell was gone and I can actually see to the bottom of the barrel now!!

The muck from the bottom ended up in the water. My Savio skimmer has a deep well that collected the muck, and siphoning out the well helped clear the water appreciably. My bead filter does not collect the water from the bottom of the pond, only from the skimmer so it was not helpful in cleaning the suspended muck.

used it in my pond in spring to get rid of bottom leaves. results were not conclusive but maybe due to too low water °.

Great product, popped four tablets into my medium sized garden pond and soon noted that the water had begun to become clearer, even though I have not yet added an aerator sprinkler to my pond feature. Two tablets popped into my indoor fountain had a very prompt reaction noted due to the aerator action of the circulating water. Crystal clear describes the overnight result. Definitely a good product.

Says that it will help improve water clarity, that is a big ol' nope.

Really hoped this would help fourth week and no improvement sadly. The tablets are very small, I used double dose.
