Its official Sony
The battery is official and works perfectly with my camera. The kit is a nice touch and doesn't increase the cost.

Must have
I love this kit. I've used everything in here multiple times. I say get it when you get your camera so you don't have to worry about it later. Charges fast. Lasts long. But I love the blower personally.

Reliability
Exceptional battery that lasts me two days on my A7R3 before I need to recharge it. The only negative is the price. For years, it has been $78, or lower when on sale, which is expensive in the first place, However, now it is $88 at Amazon and reaching $100 at some brick and mortar stores. There is no new tech advancement in this battery so the price increase is a pure money grab. Don't tell me that it is tariffs.

OEM but too expensive based on how long charge last.
Powerful oem but not very long lasting in my ILCE-7RM5 and ILCE-A7CR. Non-OEM probably more cost effective due to longevity of charge. Follow the best practices to get longest lasting charge.

No yellow battery cover
I wish they specified that these no longer seem to come with the plastic cover to protect the leads. I ordered two and both didn’t have them. I almost thought these were counterfeit because I have a official battery that came with it, but upon further inspection they appeared to be legit.

Spare batteries comes in handy… ALWAYS!
Yes definitely… Would recommend at least having 3 batteries to be on the safe side. I never leave home without a spare. Ya never know what can happen especially if you don’t have a power bank to charge ya dead batteries.

Good quality like genuine. There’s differences from genuine battery that come with camera. You can find the same battery for less price with offer on other selling platforms
