Can anyone who has used these down inserts for a sofa please comment as to how supportive they are when you lean back on them?

When used with 26x26 covers - not at all supportive. They’re very soft/underfilled, so they squish down if you lean back on them. You’d need a firmer cushion for more support.

Do the feather poke through fabric?

I ordered these last year in 2018 and they do poke through. They also come out often. Hopefully the next ones I purchase don’t poke through and don’t fall out of the pillows. My bed keeps getting feathers on them.

No, we haven't make 14 by 22 insert. But I think you can try our 12 by 20. We fill it much more than others.

When we received our pillows, they smelled like poop. Is this normal?

I’ve owned lots of down pillows and duvets over the years, and I’ve never had any that smelled like poop until today. These pillows are awful. The poop smell is absolutely not normal. I’m returning them.
