I ordered a couple of these to replace one I had to remove the output plug on. (Got one as a spare.) I had needed a simple two wire connection and not the barrel plug and cut the plug off of one I already had...then I needed another with the barrel back in place and was like - uh oh - so I ordered a replacement - this one. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised to find not just the transformer but it also included a barrel plug adapter to a simple two wire terminal block! This would have been just what I needed when I cut the cord off of my existing one. A very nice addition to the device and makes it even more useful. I will remember this and order these for my future needs since they serve more than one purpose now! Thanks Ledmo!!

I am using this to allow powering our new suite of electronics: chart plotter, radar, sonar, etc. They included in the box a fitting that allows one to connect wires to the power supply, so it’s a very easy thing to do. This power supply provides 12VDC at 5 amps (so 60 Watts). Moreover, it will accept input voltages up to 240 VAC and 50 Hz, making it useful and usable (with adapters for plugs) anywhere in the world. Very nice device.

The lights under my cabinets went out. I thought the strips of light would have to be replaced, but my brother realized the original adapter was inside the top cabinet and had me order a new one. Within days my lights were back on and I was very pleased.

I may discontinue writing reviews on products I buy. I spent a good deal of the day January 04, 2019 catching up on reviews for items I purchased. Only two have been posted. Leaves me to wonder if I should invest my time writing them. Perhaps Amazon doesn't have staff to monitor the incoming quantity of reviews? I purchased to run some LED COB under cabinet lighting. That will be controlled by Amazon Alexa when installed. Reason for buying is it will be a birthday gift for someone needing additional lighting in the kitchen. It will also aid the individual so that person doesn't have to fumble around with a small switch on present florescent light. This power supply is UL listed, small / compact, and priced very well. I suspect it will last the individual a very long time. Do not think power supply may only be used for LED COB lights. It can be used for any product you have that requires 12V DC power. The power supply on our Roamio went out. We had the red/blue blinking lights. This was an perfect replacement that, for me, got the hot transformer out of the cabinet and in an open area to stay cool.

I purchased this Power Adapter for use with my under-the-counter LED light string in our kitchen. This is my second purchase of this Power Adapter since the first one was mounted inside a kitchen cabinet and was getting too hot. The first one lasted 5 years. But I'm not completely certain why the adapter seemed to be overloading. I strongly suspect it was because of the failure of the LED light string itself. I noticed that the light string had quite a few LED lights that were gradually failing. This caused a noticeable reduction in light output, as well as an increase in heat generated from the light failures. Perhaps those light failures aggravated the power adapter, causing it to fail also. We'll see how this replacement holds up. I'll get back to you in about 5 years!

I purchased two of these, to run small audio power amplifiers. While waiting for a chance to get access to the power amplifiers, I needed a 12 volt supply to run a CCD camera for an astronomical telescope. Both supplies I ordered put out 12.2 volts, so they provide a little extra voltage to cover typical voltage drop in power supply wiring. The camera worked just fine with these supplies. I suspect the amplifiers will, too when I get around to installing them this weekend. Down the road, I have other uses for these linds of supplies, including LED lighting. Good value for the money!

Works well. Purchased to replace a wall adapter to run a 7 x PC fan air cleaner. This unit stays quite cool whereas the wall adapter would get a little warm (1 - 2 degrees above room temp).

This power supply worked out perfectly for connecting to the separate dmx decoder and led lights I purchased all to use together. Love how it came with the led connector as that was a bonus value for purchase I found I liked very much and made it much easier to have all I needed. Great product.

The power supply works for operating a powered USB hub. One star reduced because the picture for the item shows a ferrite core on the output that is not there. The other photos, surprisingly, do not show this. I don't have the equipment to check the cleanliness of the output , that the ferrite core might help.
