Powerful, quiet and comfortable! Love it ๐๐ป
Easy to assemble right out of the box, just follow the instructions closely, not that much to do. Once assembled, I waited for a decent weather day in February here in Michigan to test it out. I already had two 80V 4ah batteries from my Greenworks power mower I recently purchased, thatโs why I ordered the tool only. I had an area on my property I didnโt get to during fall cleanup (using my old gas powered backpack blower) so was anxious to test it out during a mild 50 degree February day on 2/12/23. I inserted a battery and WOW, was so impressed from the moment I squeezed the trigger. It is very powerful. I am very pleased with its performance, even to blow stubborn leaves embedded in ground cover as you can see in my video. I hardly even needed to use the turbo function but did at times for testing purposes. Itโs lighter than my old gas backpack blower and also more comfortable to wear. I operated it around 30 minutes total with/without turbo, mostly without because itโs powerful enough without, but there will be times to utilize turbo and you will know when. I highly recommend it if you want a great, powerful blower that doesnโt require gas/oil, spark plug, air filter, etc. It actually exceeded my already high expectations! Iโm a 73 year old man with some mobility issues so appreciate the advantages of this particular blower. Love it! Iโm glad I already have the two 4ah batteries to take advantage of purchasing just the blower. Itโs always nice to have a spare battery.

Very nearly an excellent blower
I moved up from a corded electric blower (Stihl BGE 60) and this is a huge improvement. It blows pine needles and even pine cones, at least into stacks that can be picked up with a rake. It also took on our natural area with ease, where it was able to pick up and move matted patches of decayed leaves and pine needles, again to move into piles for pickup with a rake. The turbo switch is a great help with this, but also uses up the battery a lot faster. I have the 4 amp battery, which is good for a hour or so, depending on how much you use the turbo switch. I do recommend the 4 amp battery over the 2 amp battery if you have a lot of trees; you won't notice the extra weight in the backpack. (I also have the Greenworks lawnmower, so the cost of the battery is shared over these two tools.) Not having to deal with a gasoline engine, especially the 2-cycle models that are common on blowers, is a big plus. Ergonomically, the backpack is very comfortable once you get it adjusted. The trigger lock is a nice touch, so you don't have to grip the trigger to keep it running. This makes the blower tube light and easy to handle. You feel virtually no vibration, another huge improvement over hand-held models. Cons: First, it is purely a right-side blower; if you need to blow under shrubs that are only accessible on your left, you'll have to make two or three passes to get leaves out from under the shrub and moved to an area where you have more freedom of movement. Second, the blower tube angles down more than I'm used to with a hand-held blower, so when you need to get close to the ground for large piles or mats, you have to lean over more. Overall, I'd give it a 4.8; any design with have its compromises, but it's hard to imagine a better blower for home use at such a reasonable price.

Better than gas
I had the 80v snowblower and started looking for leaf blowers and settled on this one. I'm impressed by the power but this is not at the same level as the normal gas blowers that I've used. It's about the same level as a mid level hand blower (better than the cheap less powerful ones). It works for everything I need it to do. The backpack part really isn't necessary since it's not THAT heavy but it is nice to only have to move the tube with your hand to blow leaves around and not the whole unit like normal. The only downsides are the battery life and a strange hiccup now and again. I can do snowblowing for a long time but this eats up energy fast even without the super power button. There's also time and again where the motor starts to spin up and then stops and I have to wait for a few seconds and then try again. It works fine otherwise so it's mostly just annoying. Overall I would buy again as it works well for my needs (I don't need the long run times so bad) and I technically could upgrade to a 4Ah battery for longer runs (for $200+...ouch). If I didn't already have the 80v battery system I probably would have looked around more. Not dealing with 2 stroke gas engines (aka gas mixing and hard starts) is so much better.

It works as advertised but has a few downsides, read on.
This is my first battery powered blower. Iโve had corded and gas power. Corded was light but leashed, gas was heavy and smelly, both felt easily capable of delivering highly directed wind speeds. Until now all Iโve owned were in line blowers, I figured Iโd splurge a little on a backpack battery powered. Iโd already bought into the greenworks lineup and been very pleased. This blower is good, just different. It works really well and Iโm easily able to complete all blowing in less than 1 charge. And the backpack is comfortable! Whatโs not to love? 3 little things 1. whistle a mid to high note. This is all my previous blowers, no open the โOโ of your lips to whistle the lowest note you can, thatโs this blower. Oh it moves leaves and watch out when you hit that turbo button, itโs impressive, yet the airstream doesnโt feel like itโs as constricted and vectored for the rpms, but it sounds like it ramps up to much higher rpms than my other blowers 2. For the pice I expected it to not feel so cheap plasticky, I donโt think it will break, but fit and finish arenโt great 3. I figured an electric backpack blower would be less awkward largely due to the semi rigid flexi tube that forms the 90 degree bend from the backpack to the whatever the wand? Thing is called. Comfortable while blowing and the rigidity makes it effortlessly light, but getting it on and storing it are a bit more cumbersome than I expected The sum up: totally recommended without reservations, the little things havenโt impeded any functionality.

Good product. How to pick your Amps/Voltage and start up charging procedures for anew unit.
Here are my suggestions. Buy this item A La Carte. Buy the blower, charger and a 4 amp 80 volt battery. This battery gives you about 30 minutes of high speed run time. I think this will cost you about $100 more purchased A La Carte like this. The 2.5 Amp battery just doesn't give you enough time (15 minutes on full sepeed) unless you have a tiny area to do. If you can afford it buy this unit as is with an extra 4 Amp battery. This unit gives you about 66% to 70% of the power of my 30 year old Ready Max gas blower but with the 4 amp battery it only weighs 14 lbs vs 30 lbs for a fueld gasblower. My gas blower takes 5 or 6 pulls to start, and you have to buy and mix gas and oil. Check the date on the bottom of each item you receive it's in tiny wrting but its there. If its old, more tha a year, return it for a newer unit. Charging the battery: So you don't have start and stop issues like some other reviewer mentioned and it doesn't tell you this in the directions, when you get it charge it for 10-12 hours before using. Then use and let the battery deplete and recharge a few times . You have to use the unit to depleat the battery. In my opinion if you have a decent size yard you should have 2, 4 Amp batteries giving you about an hr run time on high. Otherwise its kind of a pain as you run out of power just as your leaves hit the neighbors driveway. I found I kept sweeping the driveway as it would run out at inoprtune times and you then have to wait for a new charge you can't just get more gas and fill up like you can with a gas blower.. I would not buy the larger batteries, 5 AMP as they cost to much and they get heavy. PS. In my opinion the hand held blowers are a waste of money. I tried and returned two and they are heavy on your wrist and body and to make them work better you need the large batteries maing them even heavier. Anything less than 80 Volts does not have enough power to blow leaves. I found customer Service at the company to be excellent.

Love it so far...
I have the hand-held cord blower and wanted to not have to deal with the cord. This backpack blower is quite a bit more powerful than my handheld blower, is very lightweight, and reduces my time blowing debris off the roof when compared to the handheld one.

Another confusing survey
Drying power is an irrelevant category for rating a leaf blower. Can't imagine using a blower to dry anything except maybe a first drying pass on a freshly washed car. Now for the relevant elements - I should have returned this because it is difficult for me to wear with a 56" chest and broad shoulders but once on on it is semi comfortable. I probably need to play around further with the straps and try to reconfigure the connection between the unit and the right arm controller since there is very limited leeway for movement. Another even more annoying inconvenience is trying to change batteries with the unit on your back. I wanted this for convenience and this is not very convenient because you need to remove the whole backpack system every time you deplete a battery so you can switch out with a fresh battery which is frequent because this runs about 15 minutes per charge. My hand held Green Works blower unit gives me close to 45 minutes per change and if this performed the same I'd have a totally different take on this system. All the same, this is my 8th Green Works yard tool and I view this product line to be both very reliable and convenient. Once I become more familiar with the backpack system I'll likely raise my opinion.

Great electric blower - Even better than previous model
This is my second Greenworks backpack blower. Had similar model for more than 3 years (still working great) but needed a 2nd unit for other properties I have and purchased this newer model. Works better than the previous model. Previous model was 580CFM vs. 610CFM on new model. Tube is slightly larger and has some improved design. I definitely notice a little more blowing power. What is amazing, it is more powerful than previous model, but is quieter. The old model had a very high pitched whinny sound. This one is slightly deeper and not as loud. Also back pack straps much stronger and more padding than previous. The throttle assembly has also been improved as well as the connector for the flex tube. Over all, greenworks made a great electric blower even better!! See pictures of old model vs new model

Powerful and easy to use
Product was an upgrade from the model I ordered which was a bonus. 180 mph max blower output is very strong. The back pack design is great because the motor and battery combined are about 13 lbs. The blower tube is sufficiently long and easy to maneuver. My first use with the 5A battery was about 20 minutes at a range of power settings used 20% of the battery. So far I am very happy with this product.

Great addition to my battery tool set
I have the Greenworks 80v snowblower and that massive battery needed another place to play. This blower replaces a gas-fired unit used for light snow, of which we get a lot. So the neater, quieter approach to moving both snow and leaves is a great step forward. The large battery is challenging to install and remove, but otherwise this thing is great. Recommended.

Light weight and quiet
Powerful enough to blow gravel off driveway Quiet enough to not need ear plugs Lightweight

Spend a couple hundred more. Buy gas.
Battery is trash. You wont get as much power as you would from a gas powered blower but it does the trick. I use it mostly for snow. In extreme cold -30โฐc and lower it will die in 5 minutes flat. With leaves if you use the turbo feature...which you will cause its gutless otherwise. it will die in about 10-15mins. I had to buy another battery to make it worth my time. So far the only upside is i can blow off my walk at 5am when I get off a night shift without waking the neighbors cause it just sounds like a vacuum cleaner.
