I like the way it looks and I've timed it and it is accurate within about 30 seconds. Some residual sand sticks to the sides but comes loose with a quick tap on the side, and this seems to be nearly unavoidable with these slower sand timers.

Not much you can say about sand and a hourglass but my other half gave me 2 thumbs up on the 60 minute one

I actually bought this for like a timer, the pillar kept the hourglass safe and not that easy to get cracked

I only bought the hourglass because it was something to decorate with. That’s black-and-white because my living room decor is all black-and-white. I really love the little hourglass though it’s just perfect not too big not too little.

Close to 64.5min when measured, so it's not going to be exact for you. Longer is fine for my use, but you might get shorted too.It's pretty once cleaned, and seems pretty protected by design. The sand is a shiny purple, and the hourglass is a little larger than anticipated, but I didn't measure beforehand.

Love it! Great value for the money

I got this for productivity and when it runs well its almost exactly 60 minutes. However mine came with an imperfection in the sand, and about 70% of the time I use it it stops and I have to tap it when it to knock the clog loose. I'm hoping the random peice of 'not sand' will wear down over time because I really don't want to deal with doing a return/replacement over this.

Used as a key color in therapy room, but turned out to be very comforting to both therapists and patients :) would buy again
