Must buy!
Okay, this stuff is amazing. I had a full head of k-tip extensions. They were in for just about 3 months and I was so ready to take them out. I purchased this remover and was praying it would work. I sat on my bed, put the tv on and this remover broke down the glue amazingly! I was able to remove every last bond in my hair. My hair feels soft and undamaged from the remover. It has a pleasant fragrant smell and dried pretty quick. I’m extremely happy I took a chance with this remover!

Easy On Thin Hair
Great bond remover for my k-tips! Breaks up the bond pretty quickly with a little help massaging it through by hand. It does not leave my hair feeling dry or damaged. I have baby-fine, thinner hair so I am VERY particular about the remover I use as to not cause unneeded damage. Product has a nice, subtle, pleasant smell, which is a bonus! I’ve used it for two sets now, and have plenty left for at least one or two more rounds!

Garbage! $1.99 Rubbing Alcohol Works Better
Wow $17.00 for this? What a RIP OFF! I ended up using rubbing alcohol I purchased for $1.99 at Target that worked better than this garbage and you can't even return it. I don't write a lot of negative reviews, but this product deserves it.

Exceeded my expectations & WORKS LIKE MAGIC!!!
10/10! Very impressed with how well this gel remover worked at removing my k-tip hair extensions and how pleasant it smelled. I did have to massage it into each k-tip & use a pair of hair extension pliers to loosen up each individual piece. Overall, would definitely recommend.

💯
This is great for removing the keratin bonds from your extensions! Melted the glue and was easier to brush them out.

Fantastic Product but you need the pliers as well.
This is the BEST keratin extension remover! I got my first set of Hairdreams extensions installed almost 4 months ago. I paid over a thousand dollars for them, including the labor. I was never told that I would also have to go back to the salon to have them removed when it was time. I'd only ever had tape-in extensions at that time. Well, I called up the same salon the other day to make an appointment to have them removed. I just so happened to ask if there was a charge for this service, yes there is. At the tune of $25.00 every 15 minutes, which means for me and as many extensions that I have, it could take 2 hours to removed all of them. That's $200.00! No Way! I knew that I had to find a way to get these suckers out of my hair with minimum damage. I watched YouTubes until I thought I knew what I was doing. I first tried to use acetone. Nope, didn't even soften the keratin in the slightest. I then came here to Amazon to read reviews and see if I could find something stronger. I'm SOOO glad I did. I bought the X10Pro Tools D-Bond Gel remover and the nifty pliers that's suggested. I paid right around $28.00 for both. I received yesterday and last night, while watching TV, I went to work removing each keratin bond. I would soak a few and then use the pliers to break up the bond. With a little elbow grease and some patience, I was able to remove all of them in under an hour. I was surprised how easy it was. I'm so glad I decided not to give in and pay someone to do this for me. Remember to use those pliers really good to crunch up that bond, all the while, letting the gel remover soak up and loosen it up. One reviewer mentioned that the gel caused her fingers to be really raw. I didn't have that issue. I didn't even wear gloves. I hope this review helps. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this remover again, except to remove tape-ins next time... LOL No more keratin extensions for me.

So-so
This took quite a while and lots of work to remove a few bonds. Not a quick and easy product, but I kept at it to remove some bonds. Wish it dissolved the bonds better.

Not effective
Useless. Doesn’t break down keratin bond at all Saturated fully, sat on hair as directed, then longer than directed.
