If you can't take it apart with this kit, then it really is a BRICK
Pros: Multitude of driver bits, great case opening tools, outstanding tweeter variations, excellent carrying case, very ergonomically designed Cons: Suction Cup to install screen protectors is like something from $-Tree. Use: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble cell phone, small electronics, possibly watches well, throw at the neighbors cat. Observations: Purchased this kit to disassemble and attempt to repair a ZTE phone that fell into a bucket of paint. This kit has all the necessary and appropriate tools to open the case and remove the screws allowing me to clean and semi-repair the phone. The phone works with the exception of the buttons. They received too much paint exposure. Still ,this kit allowed me to get the phone to a point I could backup my data, recover my photos, and even continue to make text and phone calls. My favorite parts in the kit are the three variations of tweezers. They are made of substantial metal and not flimsy or cheap feeling at all. Excellent kit and I highly recommend it. (BTW the pictures are taken with the phone that went to the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket of paint, after being disassembled and cleaned with the kit.)

Sturdy stainless steel pry tools, versatile screwdriver decent case
I needed a computer tool set so I could open up a Lenovo AIO and replace its paltry 500GB solid state drive with a 2TB SSD. My tools tend to be standard size, like for tower computers or car repair, and I didn't have any of the pry tools needed to pop open the case. After searching online for "Best PC tool set" and getting tools that cost $50 or more, maybe with an aluminum carrying case, I just searched Amazon and found lots of tool sets in the $12-35 range. So I started looking at the midrange options, say around $20, and then examined what tools came with those sets. I finally settled on this tool set. The case uses Velcro for closure, which I prefer over zippers - zippers can fail. The screwdriver is great. It comes with so many screw tips, and the magnetic strength is excellent. The end of the handle pivots against your palm, so you can use it one-handed easily The shaft has a magnetic tip holder, and the shaft also has multiple lengths that you can extend from or retract into the handle. The kit also includes a flexible shaft that you attach between the handle and the tip. The photo shows my Lenovo with the back removed thanks to the two metal pry tools at the lower left. The screwdriver rests on the motherboard cover, and its decent case rests in the back PC cover at the top of the photo. The tool kit is a tri-fold, with the screwdriver set held in place by a flexible belt. i did not need any of the other tools on this project, but I am glad to have them should the need arise.

Owned since 2018
I've owned this repair kit since 2018. Just recently upgraded to an ifixit kit and realized I never reviewed this kit. Basically at $21.99, it's hard to beat. Yeah, the ifixit kit is nicer and the bits are much better quality but over the 7 or 8 years I've been using the XooL the only bit that stripped was the 1.5 hex, which was the reason I upgraded. I don't daily drive these or anything. I do the occasional repair. GPS, gpu, digital calipers are recent examples of items I worked on with the XooL kit. I used the hex bits a lot when I was into 3d printing. I replaced a laptop fan a few months back and used this kit to pry open the plastic clips and remove screws. Overall a good, cheap entry point into working on electronics. I might have to find someone interested in repairing tech to pass it on to. If you can afford a better kit then go for it but for $21.99, you can do a lot of work with this kit.

Get what you pay for
The overall package is very convenient, especially the fold up pouch that contains all the tools. The tools themselves however are pretty mediocre. Screwdriver is kind of poor. Lots of slop on the bits, and the driver itself I think is too tall for electronics repair. You end up 5 inches above the screw you are working on, and it makes it harder than it needs to be to actually land your bit inside an m.2 screw and start working. I switched out the driver with the aluminum ifixit one (with the ball bearings) and its a massive improvement. Worth keeping the old driver in the kit for its extending feature or if you want to very quickly switch between, say, a torx bit and a PH00 without exchanging bits. The bits are very soft and will round out if you are using it heavily. The spudgers are brittle and will mar easily. My favorite one to use was the black, double sided fan shape and its snapped apart on the ends. The prying picks are equally frail and will bend away and become trash. The metal pry tool is helpful but the soft rubber/plastic peels away and turns the tool into a shank rather quickly. The set of blue pry tools are great, as you can set and forget them as you work around a stubborn chassis and keep things from clicking back shut- but they suffer from fragility as the other esd pry tools in the kit do. Listen, its dirt cheap, and the package is sweet for the money- but if you are buying this for daily use as a field tech, make some upgrades. Get a better driver, and get just a few replacements for the bits you use the most. It will save you a lot of grief.

Used this for the past 7 years, and expect to use it for the next 70.
I've been using this kit for the past 7 years. It's built, taken apart, and repaired 2 computers, 3 laptops, a set of headphones, dozens of misc. knicknacks, and probably a hell of alot more than I can remember. Extremely useful product that has been well worth the money I spent on it a quarter of my lifespan ago. Has heads that fit nearly every situation (unless you're doing something like building furniture) and is well-built to last.

5 Years in - Amazing Set
I bought the 82-in-1 set in February of 2020, I've used this on countless occasions to fix things like phones, my Xbox controllers, PC keyboard and mouse, and most recently my MacBook Pro. The tools have always held up perfectly. Everything is super easy to use and swap between bits. Additional features, such as the free-rotating end of the driver and the magnetic tips, make this set stand out by providing incredible ease-of-use. The only issue I was faced with was after 5 years of use - the tiny T0.8 can't be expected to hold up forever since a head of that size doesn't have a ton of durability to it. Anyway, after using that 0.8 for a while it finally wore down just enough to not fit the corresponding screws (in my MacBook). I reached out to the seller 5 YEARS after my purchase at 10PM and they responded within minutes, resolving the issue in one clean message. I have NEVER had something put right so quickly and effectively. Again, this was the only piece in the set that this happened to and I wasn't surprised since it was so small, I have no doubt that it is unrelated to the material quality. At this point I simply wish I had gone with the bigger set for only a few dollars more! I am in no way sponsored for this review or product, and as a side note I urge people never to trust reviews from someone who is sponsored by a brand. P.S. - the missing bits from the pictures were not lost or broken, they were just currently in use haha.

Everything IT fix-it man needs. Amazing price for 80 in 1 set made with "very good" quality plastic so don't expect AAA quality.
I have always wanted to own such a set but always lacked the will to buy one because there was no direct use for it. However, i was assigned from work to travel to one of our international offices that we wanted to close and my assignment was to take out the hard drives from staff computers and destroy the platters in the drives so i found this the best opportunity to buy this set. As an IT staff, it has saved my a$$ because it contains everything you need to pry open very stubborn, old, hard drives and unscrew any crazy looking, unorthodox type of screws that manufacturers use to secure their drives and the platters inside the drive! The metal priers have proven to be an essential tool in my case, so i strongly suggest you get the large set because the smaller one does not include the variety of the larger set (80 in 1). Quality wise, you can feel the main screwdriver is made of somehow cheap plastic. Not extremely cheap tho, not the type that will crack with daily use or under strong pressure easily. However if you are a daily heavy user (who works in IT maintenance field) then IMHO don't expect the main screwdriver to last more than a year of rigorous usage. Having said that, i still gave it 5 stars due to the justified price you pay for the quality you get. Again i'm not saying it is BAD or stay away from it, on the contrary, it is a good product and well made for the price you pay, what i'm saying is if you are a heavy daily user, you might want to invest in something of higher quality, but for an occasional user like myself, this set can't be any better deal.
