Alien vs Predator: The Hunt Begins 2nd Edition

This is Aliens in a box! The component quality is off the chart, the tiles are laminated sturdy cardboard cards are of good quality and the miniatures are some of the best I have ever seen. High quality resin with incredible detail. I enjoy games that are asymmetrical yet balanced, and this one delivers. Each of the 3 factions have their own unique abilities and victory is obtained differently for each one. The replayability of just the base set is high and can be played in co-op as well as opposition mode. This box is well worth the money, the care put into it is evident and the foam insert for miniatures storage included is just awesome. So get geared up and hunt some xenomorphs!

I have been picking up differnet expansion for this game for a while now but had never bought the whole game as it was expensive (like $100-125 expensive), so when the second edition of this game showed up on Amazon and was half the price I ordered it asap. While I have not read the new rules, just the models and pieces included in this game make it worth it. The models are one piece each and look amazing, and are at least as good looking as the old ones, and the tiles are very high quality. If you are unsure about this game read the rules from the website, but if you are more of a model collected like me just buy it!

I would score this higher if it weren't for the fact that my box didn't come with all the pieces. Missing floor tiles, no dice and one missing soldier. Honestly, was there no quality control for this? Regardless, I'm still somewhat satisfied with my order, just wish that I had everything that was suppose to be included.

Excellent miniatures with loads of detail are the best thing in the box, and there are lots of great things in this box. Including perfect storage for the minis! The floor tiles are plentiful and well drawn, and the cards are also top notch. The tokens are standard fair, being just cardboard. I do wish that there were better tokens and counters and what not, but they all work well for gameplay even if they are not as impressive as the rest of the game prices. Gameplay is fast and fun with easy to understand mechanics and a relatively easy setup and take down, though the missions could use some more fluff for fans of the universe. All and all this will be a game that gets regular play, and after I get some of the expansions I am looking forward to playing the wargame version very much. If you like Aliens and games then this is a no brainier. If you can paint miniatures on top of that you would be a fool to pass up this phenomenal box of sci-fi awesomeness!

Worth the buy to get this only thing that bothered me was the cardboard stock tiles they tend to warp only after a few days.

The board game came in perfectly no scratches it was brand new the miniatures were perfect as well and well worth it all.

This was the only part broken

Arrived damaged. If it was something I was only spending $20 or less on, it wouldn't have bothered me as much, but when the Amazon box is undamaged, and the game box inside is, it paints a picture that you had sent me damaged goods. One of the alien figures had a hand snapped off that I had to glue back on as well. Not too happy about it

Minis are disappointingly fragile Was kinda of surprised to pull a mini out of the foam holder and broke off a staff, gotta babie these ones

It is a great game. But for some reason some of the cards are in Spanish. Great game otherwise.
