Really practical GPIO hat
Tells ALL about what your RasPi is doing with its pins. Starts with being able to tell if you are plugged in correctly, then shows what mode you are in when you start up. Make it easy- have Gemini or Claude write the script to blink the right indicator so you can see your connection wire is going to the right socket. If only everything was this practical.

Lots of Pretty Lights! Looks like a Mini Christmas Tree and Useful too!
I totally love this. The colors they chose look super pretty. It's just like the old days when computers used to have lots of blinken lights. My friends were suitably impressed. It's also helpful to get that instant feedback when testing your code and without all the bother of wiring up some LEDs. It's also a handy way to attach your wires. The only caveat is that when you apply a pull-up resister to an open gpio pin and read it's status you will normally see a result of 1. But with this attached the light is enough of a load that the pin reads zero instead. In certain specific scenarios that might be an annoyance, but it also has an easy fix, just add an external pull-up. At least that is what I experienced on my OrangePi Zero 2W have not yet tried this on my other PIs.

Good addition to any Pi project
A must have if you are doing some kind of weird project with your Pi and you want to get the GPIO headerrl somewhere you can easily access. LED status lights are a brilliant feature, saves some troubleshooting for sure.

Quick setup!
Do you breadboard? Then is the tool you need for testing. I build small devices using Pi Zero. This keeps it simple!

very nice piece, easily installed and very watchable
It was just what I needed and worked very well in several configurations. I highly recommend this item. I would buy it again in a second.

almost perfect, not compatible with pi 5 heatsink
Functionally, it works great. But unfortunately does not fit a pi 5 with the official rpi Active Cooler installed. Pins collide with the metal surface. My workaround was a bit overkill but I ended up desoldering the entire 40 pin header and putting a comically tall one in its place.

Great for better pin out connections
Especially great if you are hooking and unhooking io regularly. A bit expensive, but probably worth it in the long run

Very Useful
I find this essential for debugging I/O. The LEDs are invaluable.
