Slip into impeccable comfort and style with the Maui from Patagonia. A flexible sole gives you cushion and smooth strides while the easy slip-on construction keeps things nice and relaxed. Handsome leather maintains a nice casual look making this a comfortable, versatile addition to your shoe closet. Patagonia's reason for being: Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire, and implement solutions to the environmental crisis. Patagonia grew out of a small company that made tools for climbers, as a result Alpinism remains at the heart of a worldwide business that still makes clothing and shoes for climbing--as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running. In each of these sports, the reward comes in the form of hard-won grace and moments of connection between the athlete and nature. Patagonia's values reflect those of a business started by a band of climbers and surfers, and the minimalist style they promoted; the approach they take towards product design demonstrates a bias for simplicity and utility. At Patagonia, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. Patagonia donates their time, services and at least 1% of sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups all over the world who work to help reverse the tide, and they work steadily to reduce any pollution and harms caused by their business activity. They use recycled polyester in many of their clothes and only organic, rather than pesticide-intensive, cotton. Staying true to their core values during thirty-plus years in business has helped create a company the employees are proud to run and work for, and their focus on making the best products possible has brought success in the marketplace.

Pretty much the first item I look for when traveling ...
These should really get 6 stars. They are sooooo comfy. My go to shoe anytime I am out running errands or lounging around the house. I even got by with them on casual Friday a few times when they were new. Now they are about 2 yrs old and only somewhat worn down on the soles and I wear them all the time. Pretty much the first item I look for when traveling because they obviously slip on/off easy at the airport and are really versatile for whatever event I am arriving to. Oddly enough, they even keep your bare feet pretty warm walking around outside in the winter. While I wouldn't recommend hiking a mountain during a whiteout blizzard in them, they get the job done running errands and taking out the trash on a cold and snowy night. I can't tell what the sole is made out of but it appears to be indestructible. I used to love Sanuks and have had some really long lasting pairs, but these are easily as comfortable, look a good bit nicer fit and finish, and more formal when you need them to be and last way longer. Highly recommended.

Too loose around the heal
These are very nice looking and comfortable shoes, unfortunate the space around the heal was just to loose and so as soon as I started walking my heals would repeatedly pop out and the back portion of the shoe would flop under my heal. Too bad. A near miss.

These shoes are awesome
These are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I am secretly a crocs fan for comfort. Crocs look totally goofy, but you can't deny their comfort. I have been threatened by my family to never wear them outside of the house. I have done so on occasion. Sometimes walking alone gives you time to think. Since I wear dress shoes to work everyday I own nothing other than vans, crocs or other comfy slip on to roam the earth. Then I get a pair of these Patagonia Maui Airs. They have the perfect support for me, look cool and are incredibly comfortable. They run true to size. One thing you will love is how light these shoes are. The bad is they are outrageously expensive for what they are. These shoes should not be more than $50, yet they cost $80-90. They are durable so hopefully I will get my money's worth out of them.

Nice overall, but they fit at least one size larger and are very wide
People with narrow feet are going to swim in these. They are also at least one size larger than advertised. If you are an 11 then get at least a 10.5 or 10. But still, narrow feet wont find these very snug and your heel might slip out, as is the case with a lit of lace-less shoes like this. The vents/perforations don't appear to be very useful other than for looks. Maybe a little bit. They are not perforated all the way through the inner lining. But these are light leather so they shouldn't be too bad in the summer heat.Insoles are removable and fairly flimsy. Probably going to replace those. Boulder color is a bit more green-ish in the picture than they are in person. Boulder is definitely a beige color that looks more brown than in the picture.

I liked the shoe but...
it was too large in the heel area and it would slip a little with every step. This is unusual for me because I have a wide foot, but I guess I don't have a wide heel. I tried a smaller size and they were too short. Too bad because the shoe is extremely light and very comfortable. I have been searching for this shoe for a long time and I thought this was the one, and it almost was...I would recommend you try it though because if it fits, you will love it!

Love them, but
I buy these shoes all of the time. About a pair every three months or so. They weigh just a few ounces and like the title says they feel like you have shoes made of air. My only critique, is that they wear fairly quickly. After a few months of every day use the sole in the ball of the foot will be about 1/4 inch thick. This happens only because I wear these shoes all of the time for almost any activity weather they are appropriate or not. They are surprisingly water proof, when I have worn them in snow and rain. My only other worry is that when you love a shoe, eventually the stop making it or slightly alter it. On my last pair my heel mysteriously started popping up because the fit had somehow gotten a bit larger. Maybe this was an irregular pair, but I hope they did not change this shoe, since it is a daily favorite.

Most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever boughten
I am a pretty style aloof kinda guy, meaning that I don't have the means to go stock my wardrobe with all of the styles of cloths that I want, but these shoes sounded incredible, so I splurged a little and got something I was hoping that I would really love. The quality of Patagonia products is always stunning, and there attention to detail is impressive. These shoes are great for business casual environments or even just to relax and be entirely casual. The material is very nice to the touch, the color is great, and these shoes are unbelievably comfortable. I have not take a long walk in these shoes, but I have no doubt they would hold up well.

This is a very light shoe with a solid and comfortable footbed, but runs large.
This is an extremely lightweight shoe, but made with sturdy materials and a very comfortable footbed. Unfortunately, it does run a little larger and I would recommend 1/2 size smaller than usual. When I first put the shoe on, it seemed to fit well, albeit, a little roomy without socks, but a smaller size seemed like it might be too small. Unfortunately, after I wore the shoe for a few days, which negates any ability to return, the shoe was noticeably too large. I ordered this in my usual shoe size, so I wasn't expecting it to be so big.I like the shoe enough to consider ordering another pair in a smaller size, but feel like I'm stuck with these new shoes I now can't wear.
