Worked great. A/C was out for almost 3 weeks in July. Kept my small condo cool and comfortable, but it does generate some heat. It’s a bit loud but makes for a great white noise.

I did a lot of research beforehand and even bought a few other smaller units trying to save money in hopes they’d do the job but they come nowhere near what this product can do. I return both of the “coolers” and invested in this one and I am completely satisfied! No water, no ice packs or freezing your filter to get cooler air, just hook up and plug in. Plus the unit is much smaller than all the other AC units I’ve had in the past. Best choice!

Where to start? This is a "new 2022 model" Had to pay the neighbor kid to haul the box up the stairs to unpack. The unit is well packed. That is the only thing good worth mentioning. Opening the package - the stench of fresh China plastic chemicals made me physically ill and an instant migraine. Opened the widow with a fan blowing outward/outside. Thank goodness it was the spare room and not in the bedroom! It took about 3 days for the smell to dissipate to roll the beast into the bedroom. Wheels work. How is this California compliant...other then they want to ship them out of California? The App: Is useless. It wants you to change/reconfigure your whole house system to 2.4 when everything is working great on 5g. The app wants ALL your permissions: location, camera, microphone etc..intrusive to say the very least. Probably so they can clone your phone. Nope. Hard pass. Installation: Is an arts and crafts project. First things first, wrangle the unit on a large baking sheet pan with a XL pee-pad taped to it, just in case and tighten the drain knobs! (not my first rodeo with these but will be my last) The vent hose leaks at both of the connections and where it slides into the unit, which in turn puts hot air into your room. Counterintuitive. This was remedied but putting blue painters tape on as I kind of knew this thing wasn't going to work after the app situation but carried on incase it actually worked. Unit: Only the turbo mode seems to work and now that is also questionable Sleep mode is a joke. It cycles on high or shuts off, wakes you up then goes back to low where it's supposed to be. THEN it shuts off completely and beeps with all the lights lighting up. Seriously a very expensive alarm clock that I don't want after not sleeping the allotted 8 hours because of all the noise! The lights do dim but not enough so I put a dark sock over the display. The unit does not cool a small room...not even close and will cycle all night even after being on turbo for over 3 hours with the door closed. (this was during a dry non-humid spell) Remote: At first I thought this was going to be great. Wrong again. The "follow me" feature failed right away. It automatically turns off when you activate turbo mode. It never reads the true temperature as stated by the manufacturer. It only reads the temp you set it at. Within less than a week, most of the "features" that did work are failing. There is no dimming light or backlight on the remote, so you have to look on the unit itself to make sure of what you adjusted. Dumb! Conclusion: If you want a very expensive 8 hour alarm clock...this is your beast! It's doesn't cool even a small room and getting worse by the day. The app doesn't work on a "new" 2022 year model. It physically stinks for 72+ hours. There is a reason these are always on sale...they are fresh off the boat poison smelling garbage! Reverse packing it up was amazingly easy! It didn't hardly pee at all. I was shocked. I did buy some heavy duty shipping tape so the UPS guy doesn't hate me. It was honestly easier to get back IN the box. It slid down the stairs just fine but I have it waiting on a pee pad just incase. Ready for pick up! I will update on the refund situation. But I hope more that you read this review first. THIS A/C IS AN EPIC FAILURE ON ALL LEVELS. JUST PASS!!!

This is a great portable AC unit! It cools down our bedroom so fast. I like that you can turn it off and on remotely. I was a little hesitant at first based on prior reviews but so glad I bought it. Hopefully it continues to live up to the hype!!!!

Few things about this unit. It does cool the room, but it has been running now for about 2 hours and hasn't shut off once. So I don't really know how efficient it is. When it kicks in, the lights in the room will flicker for a brief moment. So I can only assume it has some major electrical pull, at that moment. It is loud. It sounds like the AC unit you would have in a hotel room. But I was expecting that and it isn't an issue for me. My unit was delivered to the wrong address, but that wasn't the shipper's fault. They had the correct address on the box, but FedEx must of got confused. It was also missing parts, nothing major, but the foam for the window was missing, so I will have to go to the local hardware store and buy some tomorrow. I like unit over all. It is what I was expecting, but the lights flicker when it kicks in, is a concern. If it pulls that much power, it can't be too efficient. I got this to use with a Delta Pro Solar Generator, in case there is a power outage, and it seems to fit the bill... Just gotta test the amount of amps this thing actually draws, before committing.. UPDATE: The foam padding was stuffed in the exhaust tube. I never noticed it when I put everything together. I was moving the unit to another room and noticed the foam in the exhaust hose. Now it chills the room REALLY fast and it does shut off after it has reached the desired temp. So I am bringing the rating up to a 4 star from a 3 star.

Best AC. Easy and works

This unit has reliably air conditioned my apartment for the last year or so until recently it just suddenly started tripping the circuit anytime I plugged it in anything other than fan mode trips the circuit I don't think I can get a warranty after 2 years so I guess I'll just have to get another ac somewhere else

Works great and cools the front half of my 1300 sq ft house down to so cool it’s chilly, despite 100 plus degree weather! My AC went out and I am currently unable to replace it financially so my friend’s husband who is an HVAC guy recommended this unit. He said he recommends this to all of his customers who need it! He specifically recommends this unit with the BTU.
