Bought two of these as gifts for my dad and my son. They seem like they'll be great rods, however have to catch fish on one to really see how they will perform. LOL

These poles are primarily intended for crappie fishing, but I have found they are the best thing in the world for rainbow trout in the mountains. This particular model is no exception. I've owned 4 or 5 crappie jig rods for mountain stream fishing with spinners, small crankbaits, and live bait, and this is honestly one of the best ones I've ever seen. I ONLY FISH FOR WHITE PERCH,CRAPPIE,SAC A LAIT. I FISH FOR THEM YEAR ROUND. THIS IS THE ONLY JIGGING POLE TO USE. IT IS SENSITIVE ENOUGH FOR A BRIM OR A 10lb CHANNEL CAT. I CATCH BOTH REGURARLY. I PREFER 9ft but 10ft IS GREAT TO. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS ROD. I'VE OWNED DOZENS OTHER JIGGING POLES AND THIS IS ALL I USE NOW. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.
