Review: This is going on my recommendation list! - Full of great little chunks of information for committing to change. Well organized and predictably structured chapters the make each "days" reading only a few minutes of commitment. (TBH- I read in increments with my kindle the treadmill each day. Yeah, I know we're less effective when multitasking, but the research supports reading while doing a bilateral task to support memory so...). I only recommend books to my clients when I have read and agree with the recommendations the books supply. This is going on my recommendation list! I'm about to start the 2nd book! Looking forward to the next set of insights... Love the Way the Book is Structured...
I've read several of Damon Zahariades' books thus far. They are chalk full of great advice and action items to help implement them into your life. Sure you could probably come across many of these ideas and strategies else where, but the way in which Damon structures his books makes it much easier for someone like me to learn, implement and succeed in the long run. I'd highly recommend his books for anyone who would like to become a better, more well rounded, more efficient individual!

Quick self help
I found multiple things I could improve on with myself in this book. Its not only about time management skills but also about letting go of thinking about what others think about you and how to avoid stress. The book gives good tips on how to improve self esteem and how to make the most of your time.

Great advice, easy to implement
I have purchased quite a few books on productivity by several authors. What I love about Damion's books is how they are an example of successful productivity in themselves. The formula is very simple; 1) here is the problem, 2) here is why it is a problem, and 3) here's how you can apply the solution. He explains as much as is necessary, which is why these books are quick reads and immediately applicable. After I read this book on my kindle, I purchased it in hard copy along with Volume 2. Highly recommend these books!!

Too preachy
This short guide to being more productive has some good suggestions, but the writer's tone is too preachy. Instead, I would have been more engaged if he shared personal stories and antidotes that suggest ways to be more productive, rather than numerous paragraphs and chapter headings starting in the negative: stop this, do this, don't.... Again, the book has good suggestions, but you may not find the writing inspiring.

Another good one by Damon
This is another good book by Damon. His writing style is very concise and clear, making it easy to digest the material. I hope he continues to write.

May be more useful than Atomic Habits...
...and? It was around before that one was even dreamed-up. If you're someone who has the inclination - and time - to ponder the myriad psychological nuances of habit change, rather than, say, tackling those habits? Then Atomic Habits is for you. This book isn't that - it gets right to the point and helps you start change NOW. Though if you truly have time to ponder the science behind habit change? I wonder how badly you need it. I understand that other authors get excited about their books, and of course we always have the option to skip the Intro, where authors wax eloquent on how they came to decide to write a book and then proceed to thank the 30 influential people who helped along the way. And then we can skip the Intro, which usually has a personal anecdote, as well as the next 2 or 3 chapters that explain why you *should* change, and why it takes X-number of days to make a change, citing studies which will be referenced through the rest of the book. Or? You could just buy this book - and Volume 2, which I just bought moments ago. It gets right to the point - and your ADHD brain won't have you wandering off to watch Netflix halfway through the Intro. As an aside? At least 3 people have since taken the name of this book for their own - that's after Damon wrote this one. Which strikes me as highly unethical. Suffice to say? It's the 2 books by Damon Zahariades that you want.

Danke!

Super easy to read & full of great actionable tips!
I have bought so many different productivity & time management books which have been overwhelming and full of information without any clear actions. This book is the first book I've ever read on productivity which has been easy to digest and full of actionable, useful tips!! I love the way the book is set up as a 30-day plan - I read a chapter each morning, found it really easy to follow & useful to have daily actions to introduce into my personal & work day!!

THE book to read
If you want to break bad habits; If you want to be more productive; If you want have good time management; If you want to feel good about yourself; If you want to feel good about your life; If you want to get somewhere in life; If you want to gain some sense of control over your life; Read this book. I’ve read so many self-help books covering the above, and bits and pieces of them have stuck in my mind, but for the most part I dropped away from doing what they instructed after the first relapse into bad habits, or after one failure or another. This book, however, is different. It is concise. It doesn’t waffle. It states the bad habit, Why it is bad, And then the actions you can take to overcome it. Yes, it states, I will fail at times, but it has given me actions and plans on what to do when that happens. Please, to whoever takes the time to read this review: do yourself a favour, read this book. And reread it.
