The best choice of mine as of August 2025 for neck pillows
Ironically, this brand came out of nowhere. It's one of those unbranded generic ones I believe. But what a great pillow! It literally is the Goldilocks of height and ratio of soft to firm. Definitely has good support whether you're a back sleeper or a side sleeper. Great for recliner chairs where you need just that little bit of lift to keep your head up to watch the television. What I truly like the most is as your body temperature warms up the material, it conforms better to the curvature of your neck, and also puts your head neck and shoulders in the correct straight alignment to get a better night's sleep if you use it in bed. If you are a side sleeper, you want to use it with the waterfall rollover Edge against your shoulder. If you're a back sleeper, you want to put the little wedge part under the back of your neck and let your head roll over the other part. Either way, I was able to get about four and a half to 5 hours of straight continuous sleep with this. So I basically went through two REM Cycles of 1.5 hours each uninterrupted. As of August 2025, this is my number one pick for these cervical neck type pillows. Much more supportive and ergonomic than the butterfly shaped ones that you see all over. This particular one has the correct soft to firm ratio, the correct height of around 3 in at the neck, and an overall height of 3 and 1/2 to 4 in. This company did it correctly, and they truly should be complimented.

Perfect pillow!
I just LOVE this pillow! I have been trying to train myself to sleep on my back and have spent an embarrassing amount of money on expensive and bulky wedges and pillows that end up on the floor in frustration. Itโs a very individual process and this one is the only one that is working for me. Itโs small enough that if I turn over on my side, I can sleep comfortably but eventually will return to sleeping on my back. I usually put it on top of a regular pillow and my neck and shoulders are comfortable and supported. It is perfect and small enough to take with me when I travel. Absolutely fabulous little pillow.

Nice but not for me
While it well constructed and has a nice cover, it seems too large for me. My head just does not sit right as I feel as though my shoulders are too close and push the pillow up and away from its ideal position. The foam is comfortable but for me it just does not stay in place sliding upward and creating a very uncomfortable position. This is for people with longer necks.

Very comfortable, but could be a tiny bit wider
I use a full-size cervical pillow like this at night which has helped immensely with my neck pain and even has helped me snore less, but I will be going on a 2-week trip this year and my pillow is too large to travel with. I started searching for a travel cervical pillow and came across this. It works just fine as long as I'm sleeping on my back, but if I flip over to my side there's not enough coverage at the back so it feels a little awkward. I can remedy that by putting a regular pillow behind it. However, the side "wings" feel a bit firmer than the curved neck portion so I probably won't be turning on my side very often with the travel pillow. At any rate, I was able to sleep on it for a full night the same night it arrived and had no discomfort whatsoever the next morning. Since it's so small it will take up very little room in my suitcase which is great. It arrives compressed in a vacuum sealed bag and is only about an inch thick when you open it, so it will take a couple of hours to expand to its full size. The zipper cover is easy to remove and put back on so washing it regularly will not be a problem. I found the cover it comes with to be quite comfortable to sleep on and there was no odor. Luckily another item I ordered (desk chair back rest) arrived in a long cylindrical bag that zips up, which will be perfect to carry this pillow in during my travels to keep it nice and clean. If you already own a full-size version of this for your neck, but would like something smaller to travel with, I definitely recommend this one! As I mentioned, it's not as comfortable when lying on your side, but you can just keep a pillow wedged behind it to provide additional support when you turn on your side. I'm sure it will "loosen" up a bit with regular use just like my pillow did when it was brand new and become more comfortable for side sleeping.

Not as shaped in images. Uncomfortable.
Not shaped as shown in images. The pictures show a clearly defined place that supports your neck (a clear indentation in the foam for your neck and head). The pillow I got does not have this same shape or indentation to support my neck. The indentation for your neck is almost level with the rest of the pillow and It is very hard foam, not memory foam, so your head is up high on the pillow and the pillow doesnโt give at all to the weight of your head. Since there is almost no indentation to support your neck properly, itโs very uncomfortable.

I love this pillow!
I bought this to travel with in December, 2022 and just realized that I didn't write a review yet! First, I'd like to say that I saw a different review here within a couple months of today (May '23) that said that their first pillow was great and they just bought one and it's much softer, which gave them less support. If that's true, it's too bad. The one I bought 1.5 years ago is very stiff which I LOVE because of the support. I have a very expensive, bigger cervical pillow I got from my chiropractor years ago and I think it's less comfortable than this little one! It's too big for me (a woman) and this travel pillow is just the right size for anyone, I think. I may end up buying one for my bed, too - but if it's softer, I may not like it as much! Anyway, the one I bought is supportive, the cover can come off but I like to add a pillow case to keep it nice, and it's lightweight. It fits easily in a suitcase and is a good price point!

Too firm for sleeping flat.
While I do appreciate the coolness of the "ice" type fabric and it gives good support while in the recliner, it is MUCH too firm for sleeping flat and actually gave me neck problems. I will return to using my buckwheat neck roll. I prob would have been happier to get one of those mentioned as "too soft" by other reviewers.

good pillow for short naps for neck support
Back sleeper only, I use this pillow for short naps and it helps support my neck without creating too much neck strain from being too tall. It's a relatively firm pillow (tiny bit of give) with a decent height for a 5'9 (175cm) male fitting right under my neck with my head flat against my super firm mattress when I'm sleeping on my back.
