True color of 3k. Fits well in a small recessed fixture without getting hot. I was hoping for brighter since it was replacing a 10 w LED but maybe cause half the leds face away it’s about the same.

The title says it all. These lights are junk. They lasted 6 months in a weather protected outdoor light fixture. These replaced other similar units that lasted over two years. These lights are on automatically from dusk to dawn on a sensor that controls all of my outdoor lights, so they're not left to run 24/7/365. They're on for about 10 hours or less per day, depending the time of year. Color warmth was accurate to the 3K rating and they were penty bright for their usage. It doesn't matter how nice or bright the light is if you have to keep replaceing them every 6 months.

I was specifically looking for LED lights which were "warm" in "color." The vast majorify of them are "cool white" which I don't really like - they're the same color as flourescent bulbs. I wanted a bulb similar to an incandescent bulb. Not many LED's are. This one is not quite a soft as incandescent but it's closer than the cool white. Nice and bright, low wattage; I'm a happy camper so far!

I bought 2 sets of these. 1 3000k and 1 6000k. Great looking bulbs. Very bright and when installed in a pair with the 6000K bulbs give you a very even and natural light. It make color matching much easier. My only problem is 1/2 of them have already burned out. They have not been on constantly. They are rated for 30,000hrs but mine burned out only after a few months of owning them. Even if they have been on constantly since I bought and installed the, that's still only 1700hrs. A very far cry from 30K. Ill be looking for replacements from other manufacturers. EDIT: Seller sent out a set a replacements. Ive installed them in the shop. The seller is working with me to make it right. EDIT 2: I've had to drop them a star. All the replacements have burned out. I disassembled one to find a burned out capacitor and 8 pin IC I cant identify due to how crispy it is. I looked up some details on the caps and they are only rated at 6000hr. There is no way these could live to be 30000hr. The picture is the datasheet for the caps I found in the bulbs.

I had an equivalent daylight LED but it was harsh to the eyes. This unit is great. The light is much softer but still illuminates the back yard. It is a little too long for a jar type of light fixture. I will look for a different Jar, longer, to replace the original. It is worth the change. I do recommend this light.
