Nice heavier weight, smooth twist closure, nice smooth writing. Just got it but the gold embellishments & name on the upper barrell are blemish-free. Looks very high-quality and price was terrific.

I'm giving this 4 stars because I got what I paid for - a cheaper, knock off version of a real engraved pen that normally costs 3-5 times this product. I knew what to expect and it actually looks pretty nice price and quality considered (I was expecting something really tacky). They got the engraving correct and its a useable pen - the only the I'd advise is to NEVER open it to use the refill. I opened the pen to test it out right after I gave it as a gift...and I haven't been able to put it back together again, it just won't screw back no matter what I try. Not surprised or upset because it was so cheap, but taking a star off because why give a refill if the pen is unusable when you try to use it?
