Does CarDaq-Pro have Bluetooth?

You can used a wired USB keyboard and there are some wireless keyboards that aren’t “Bluetooth”, but have “Plug and Play” dongles (example Logitech K400, and others) that do work with the device. I use the Logitech, and it works well. Traditional Bluetooth won’t work as there is no “pairing” method that is accessible by the user.

What type of laptop do i need to run this device?

You do want a Windows 10 Professional edition. It's also good to have at least a dual core processor with 2.5 GHz speed or higher, 8 Gb of RAM and 500GB HD. Some OEM applications look for more memory than necessary prior to install, so it's good to have a larger hard drive. Many computers that have Win10 Pro fit this description, but it's good to check prior to purchasing one.

Does everything it’s supposed to do! I enjoy the fact that it’s verified by the car manufacturers. Makes programming an ease. I did notice one thing. It wouldn’t work on a 2018 ford F-150, would make the dashboard go blank and would not connect at all! I ended up using my j2534 mongoose interface and it worked perfectly. These interfaces are made by the same manufacturer, which I found weird. Anyway purchase it! You won’t regret it.

I've used the Bosch unit before to program some ECU/PCM's which works well, however the CarDAQ is far superior in my opinion. Very easy to register and use immediately out of the box. I've used it to program several GM PCM's and a few Dodges. No issues with connectivity or locking to the vehicle and I was able to both re-flash and install new PCM's without issues.
