The only thing that actually works
Five years ago Terminix offered this as a monthly service. Living in Fl in the country with lots of oak trees means living with so many mosquitos that going outside even in the middle of the day turns into a slap fest. That all changed when I started this service. For the first time in 20 years I could go outside without being slathered in deet. Then last year they discontinued the service but I soon discovered this product for sale. It's actually much much better than the service! I have a very large "yard" 3.7 acres. Mostly trees and bushes and I have virtually no mosquitos. One can a month and you're good to go. Make sure you spray inside low bushes. On the backs or face on inside leaves only as it's not good for other nectar drinking insects either. BEST STUFF EVER

This product is outstanding at controlling my backyard mosquito population. Two cans will cover my entire 2,000 square foot back yard, and I notice a difference in mosquito's within 30 minutes of spraying. By the second day my family will enjoy a good 30 days of no mosquito's depending on the amount of rain as the product will eventually get washed away. There is a musty garlic odor that is not very pleasant after you initially spray, but it will dissipate after a few hours. The key is to spray all low growing non flowering bushes, shrubs and tree branches around the perimeter of your yard. That's where mosquito's like to hide until when they feed in the evening. You can spray it on non porous materials, but it does leave a light brownish residue that will wash away over time. It definitely works, without a doubt!

Probably Helps
I have used this product for two years, and I think it probably helps with mosquito control though it’s hard to know for sure because it doesn’t completely eliminate the mosquito problem, and we’ve taken other prevention measures like eliminating standing water, using downspout sponges, and putting BTI on our pond. I try to spray the bait and kill once a week on areas where I know mosquitos like to roost. Most these are “junk” groundcover (English ivy and pacasandra) that are tough and basically unkillable. I never spray on tender plants or ones with flowers that attract pollinators. It’s not a miracle product, but I think it can be part of an overall mosquito prevention regime.

Unpleasant to brush against plants where applied
Mosquitos were still flying about, but not biting as much for some days... until the weather changed. Will use 2nd bottle on foliage further from the house. But expecting weather conditions must be just right to achieve real abatement. May also depend which sub-species. That Asian tiger variety behaves different.

I think it helped!
I had a major mosquito problem in my yard this year. Even in the middle of the day they were buzzing, just aching to get their shot at me. I am somewhat sensitive to bites, they seem to itch more and last so much longer than they do for the rest of my family. So, of course, mosquitos always find me first and best. The week after 'The 12 Bite Afternoon' I thought I'd go insane with the constant itching. When I declared war on the little bloodsuckers, I decided upon a two pronged approach. I used Off Backyard Pretreat to kill off as many as I could that were hiding within the hedges, trees, and bushes of our yard. A few days later I used this product to entice the survivors to their death, or at least reduce their chances of procreation. It's been about a month and a half and the mosquito situation back there is so much better. I can go out in the afternoon and not expect to get a single bite, the way it was intended to be. There are still some that show up in the evening, but much, much less than before. These two products kept me from spending the rest of the summer avoiding my own backyard, which is awesome. I'm not sure which helped the most, though, so ratings are a little hard, but I think they both played an important role. I liked that this has natural ingredients. I would probably only use the poison one again if things got really bad again. My only complaints are minor. It's a little stinky, and a little sticky. The can was a bit painful to press down on the spray nozzle for long enough. One of the two cans came without a nozzle, so I had to steal it from the other. Still worth it, and will buy again if it's effectness seems to wane over time.

I'm not going to hold my breath, well, yes I will as it says it's PUNGENT!!
Truthfully, I haven't used it yet, but will be trying it tonight on some mosquito infested lawn. I'm only giving it 2 stars, because I've seen GARLIC mosquito control products before (didn't realize THIS product was simply garlic extract when I bought it, should've read closer, thought I did, but I guess not) that cost a lot less than this. The reason I didn't buy a garlic product before, is because it specifically stated you had to "spray the UNDER side of ALL LEAVES in order to get good control. (???) Like, I want a demonstration on how to spray the UNDER side of every blade of grass? I will treat it like spray painting an acoustic ceiling... hold the can close to ground level and spray in ONE direction with a sweeping motion and when I get to the other end of the lawn, turn around and come BACK over the same area with the same technique in hopes of at least getting TWO SIDES of the leaf blades. To really be 100% effective, I would think a person would have to do the same technique in all four directions. Of course, how much MORE of the product are you going to use, even only doing it in TWO directions? I reiterate I will give two stars... and maintain the two stars IF it actually WORKS and IF I don't end up using twice the product on the same area trying to "be sure to spray ALL the leaf area INCLUDING the "bottoms". I'm not going to hold my breath in hopes it works as effectively as they claim.
