Rustoleum Color Shift Spray Paint, 11 ounce, Cosmos Blue

This stuff is awesome. Vivid colors - looks just like samples. Suggest buying extra, if you want the colors to be very obvious, it can take several coats.

This is truly an incredible paint! It’s two colors green and bronze. I’ve seen it in cars before they do it in purple and red and bronze, but I’ve never seen it done in a spray can where it’s green and bronze. It is just outstanding I painted the face on a gauge and it worked out great.

Using it in a diy bass build. Not done yet, but you can see the copper to green color shift. Very cool. I had to sand down the body and start over. My fault! If you’re doing a project like this, do multiple light coats and let it dry sufficiently between coats. When I sprayed too much at once, it dripped and ran and the color didn’t come out as cleanly. Also, use their black base coat. Worth the money.

Very nice color and the shifting looks really nice, but a dark or black under coat is a must. The pain also seems kind of thin and will run and drip. sp be careful with that :)

The color shift is as described. I didn’t get a smooth texture, though, and for this project that is important to me. I followed all of the directions, and of course started with a clean card, so I’ll need to try something else. The video shows the results for 3 coats. The colors are quite cool! For the right project it might be nice. Drying time is as described- completely finished at 24 hrs.

The finish is great, but its a really good idea to practice on some junk piece before using on the real thing if it is your first time using this paint. It is difficult to see what you have sprayed, it almost appears translucent, so is easy to run. Regardless of that issue the finish is very unique, looks beautiful, and is well worth the extra effort. It turned a tacky looking lava lamp into a cool table centerpiece.

Total waste of money on this shift which lead to costing a lot more in labor and materials to remove this shift! I put it over the recommended brand and color, from the first squirt to the last coat of this ridiculous shift, it was a Florissant teal! No blue in sight, I did several tests prior and it was sketchy, I should have stopped but I was on a schedule. Sum it all up, I wouldn’t recommend this shift to anyone, I wish I had never bought this shift, I wish I had never allowed this miserable shift into my life. Do you know how embarrassing it was to have a custom built chopper, spray this shift on it and everyone who saw this shift started laughing at me? I wish I could get a refund but I’d really like to back charge someone for the total amount I’m out because of this disappointing shift…..
