Improves soil quality
Awesome stuff has Greatly improved our hay for cattle. Very cost effective, does smell when open but does not put off an odor that lingers when spraying a field

One of the best foods for the soil
Organic gardening smells a bit, but the plants and soil microbe life both love Hydroslate Fish Ferts so I will continue to use this (and Neptunes Harvest 2-4-1 version) over the salt/synthetic alternatives that destroy our planet Even my indoor plants get the good and stinky organics and they all thank me by getting bigger and producing more oxygen for my home Depending on the plant, I'm using: 1/2 to 8 tablespoons of Bare Grounds Fish Hydroslate, 1.5 teaspoons Azomite dust, 1.5 teaspoons Black Strap Molasses, and 1/4 teaspoon Maxicrop Seaweed Powder for every gallon of water, feeding the plants every 1 to 3 weeks, using RO filtered well water between feedings... add a little Oyster shell flower if the soil needs pH buffering, or look into using a dash of Potassium Bicarbonate to raise the pH of the plant food a bit (if you use Peat based soils) Keeping our Aloe, Lucky Bonsai, Lavender, Holly, Christmas Cactus, Cucumber, Poinsettia, Snap Pea, Green Bean, Spinach, Kale, Strawberries, Tomato... the list keeps on going... all of the plants are happy, the fruit and veggies we grow have always been extremely flavorful Organics for life * Edit - I am now using this in rotaion with Dr Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Plant Food made from "digested food materials"... basically liquid food compost in a bottle. I am also rotating out the Azomite every few feedings along with either "Sole water" (1/2 to 1 teaspoon per gallon of water) or Sea-90 minerals at recommended doses (1/4 to 1 teaspoon per gallon of water) * Edit 2 - No more Maxicrop Seaweed powder for me, so I am now making my own Seaweed "juice" with 2.5 teaspoons of Kelp Meal (Neptune's Harvest) for every gallon of water and let it soak for 24 to 48 hours before adding the Fish Hydroslate or Pot of Gold along with Black strap, and micro/macro A to Z elements (things like Azomite, 84-Salt Himalayan Pink Salt "Sole" water/Sea-90 Sea salt Minerals)

May not smell like roses, but theyโll take your love it too
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Picked because my grandmother used fish emulsion to grow all her veggies. Plants love it and itโs not going to hurt your soil. Neighbors might not enjoy it, but theyโll take your oversized zucchini and your tomatoes with a smile, well maybe not the zucchini after a while. But anyway, the fish emulsion really works to start a compost pile and it even keeps my lawn looking pretty darn green. A little goes a long way in a hose sprayer, giving everything in my backyard a little fishy drink. My succulents and annuals love it and even those snobby roses seem to put out a little extra when they get some.

Plants love this and a great value !!!!
Great value and my plants are thriving !!! Price for comparable item at Nursery is twice as expensive. Definitely improves all types of plants and does not burn like Miracle Gro.

Natural Liquid fertilizer
I love this fertilizer. I use this in a 32 gallon sprayer. 4 ounces per gallon. If used at this rate it wonโt burn your lawn. Your lawn will love it. Greens up nicely. This is really an inexpensive fertilizer. Does smell awful but hey fish do smell. I have now applied 3 times to my yard. My grass (Bermuda) has really thickened up so much so I have very few weeds.

Very bad value compared to Alaska.
I purchased this product in 5 gallon looking for a cost effective alternative to Alaska Fish Emulsion that I've been using for years. This product is quite a bit less expensive, and seemed like a better flowering season NPK spread as well. I didn't realize how much of it they recommend that you dilute per gallon of water. This product recommends 4-6oz per gallon of water. Alaska Fish Emulsion recommends 2tbs per gallon of water. That's 1 oz. So this 5 gallon container dilutes to 107 gallons of solution to put on your garden, for $96.51. $1.11 per gallon of water on your veges. Alaska Fish Emulsion 5 gallon (640oz) on Amazon is $110. Diluted with water that makes 640 gallons of fertilizer solution. That's $0.17 dollars per gallon. This product works great but if you are looking for value for money its a pretty terrible deal when compared to a similar product.
