What makes these bands sparkly?

Unfortunately I bought the pastel colors..which by the way are quite pretty and make the most colorful bracelets.

Has anyone used these for their toddler girl’s hair?

I wouldn't. They are incredibly rubbery. They get stuck in hair and get tangled. We tried once..... Never again!

Will these rubber bands work with the original Rainbow Loom kit?

Yes they will, but I will say they seem a little bit more delicate than regular rainbow loom bands in my experience. So I'd recommend being a little more careful with projects that cause a lot of tension on the bands.
