Takes a little patience and understanding, but wonderful. At first it seems anti-helpful. Since it attracts fruit flies to be trapped, for a while you will see MORE fruit flies. I'd say essentially no flies after maybe three days, or just an occasional fly. Take the top off and look inside, you see nothing, but look inside with a FLASHLIGHT and you see thousands of dead ones on the bottom. My guess is that it takes a few days to fully interrupt the fly breeding cycle.

Doesn’t work one bit. Gave it a shake, opened and the fruit flies just keep swarming on it or around it. Left it out and open even without the cap and the only thing it did was leave a musk in the air and it leaks through the rim. Don’t waste your money on this

These little jars work wonders. Last a long time. Definitely catch the insect. I have them near sink and they dont move.

This product gets 3 stars from me because it's good but I wasted two before I figured out how to correctly use it. It would help if there would be a better description of its use. If you don't shake it well, the film doesn't stay over the liquid when you pull the cover off.

Seem to work pretty well, but strong odor can spread thru room.

These are AMAZING! They seemed pricey but once I used them it was clear that they are worth every penny. We live by an orchard so the fruit flies can be obnoxious but these totally eradicated them from our home in just a few short days. I’ll definitely purchase again.

The fruit flies are attracted to the trap but they don't go inside soooooo...they aren't trapped. It just feels kinda gross to have the thing sitting around. I bought a two-pack and put another one in another room. Same thing. In theory I can see why it might seem like it could be effective, but it's not. Not only that, but the instructions aren't clear. It was like shake it and take the lid off but really you don't take the lid off you just pop it open once you've take the film off under the lid. Are you supposed to shake it once? Or once in a while? Once a week? And by the way it's super messy once you take off the film and you shake it even with the lid completely closed, of course. I won't be buying this again. The fruit flies have enjoyed a yummy treat or something and definitely aren't getting trapped.

We bought two n before we opened them up the gnats were already attracted to it n were dying! We have not had any trouble since we bought them! Finally something that works!!
