No. You use your sense of feel. I have never over tightened a fastener yet but I use this for mechanic work.

What amp hour battery does this tool need to have 35 ft -pounds of torque? what torque will a 2.0 red li-ion battery generate in this tool?

Amp hr Will!!! effect torque due to voltage drop aka battery sag, Mr Sheffield doesn't know what he is talking about.
