I love this bike lock. I've had many locks, many types of locks. If you are looking for a lock that provides a higher level of security than chains and cables and isn't a pain to carry, this is the lock you want. It is made from very strong steel that cannot easily be cut or twisted off. I'd say that it is just as strong as most d-locks, but it is easier to use. The folding joints provide enough flexibility to give you more options when securing your bike than a rigid shape. This is especially handy if you find yourself having to lock up to whatever utility poles, sign posts, fence gates, or other non-bike rack-sized items are around. Also, the lock carrier is fantastic. Having a bike-mounted carrier that fits where a water bottle cage would go, it's convenient to have with you all the time. The carrier holds the lock securely. Even bombing down singletrack on a mountain bike over roots and rocks, this lock won't fall out of the holder. The lock makes zero noise in the carrier; no rattling whatsoever. The carrier doesn't get in the way of your pedal stroke, tires, or dropped seat. No need for a bike bag. The key port is covered, so that the locking mechanism is protected from dirt, rain, or debris. Highly recommended.

This lock is a beast. Perfect for my E-Bike with 4 inch tires. I feel perfectly confident that my bike will be where I left it when I return. I added a 4 foot cable lock just for insurance on my front wheel. The reason I would’ve liked to have given the company a six is due to the outstanding customer service. Connected to my bike using the hook and loop then went for a ride. Took on some rough terrain and at the end of the ride the lock had worked itself off the bike and was lost forever… but… The customer care by this company was amazing! They get 5 stars. They reached out and gave me great communication and support. Will use again!

A real heavy dutty!

I like the ease of how you lock it around the frame. Very nice.

This is very secure but hard to use because it is not as flexible as a chain, and because of that it’s not long enough to lock a bike to anything much larger than a sign post or bike rack. Also, locking and unlocking it is often difficult because the key has to be perfectly positioned to get it to latch and unlatch. Would not buy again.

Conforme a la description du vendeur, cette antivol articulé semble de très bonne qualité. Il est livré avec 4 clefs ainsi que son support à fixer sur le vélo de 2 manières différentes au choix : soit par des sangles avec velcro, soit à l'aide de vis fournies a insérer dans les fixations prévues sur le cadre (souvent dévolues à un bidon). L'acier semble de bonne qualité, est épais, et résistera sans problème à une pince coupante même de bonne taille. Évidemment il ne fera pas le poids face à une meuleuse mais sera le parfait complément d'un U de qualité ou pour sécuriser le vélo pour un arrêt court dans un lieu de passage très fréquenté. Il mérite sans doute ses 2 roues FUB son achat sera probablement apprécié par la plupart des assurances vélo.

The lock itself seems very strong, it's very easy to use, and the cover it goes into is nice and space-saving, allowing you to remove and insert the lock from the centre with a sort of cage that keeps it in place. The key is nice and small and occupies very little space, and they give you three of them. However, I would have expected a proper bracket to attach it to the bike, with screws or nuts. Instead, there are two velcro straps on the back that wrap around the frame to keep it in place. In my case, the gear cable goes down the back of the frame, so it's impossible to actually pull the velcro around and tight without first disconnecting the cable, which unless you're an expect, wrecks the gear setup. Now that it's done, and now that I have gotten the gear setup repaired at my own expense, if I ever need to remove it, move it, or tighten it, there will be the same problem. They really should provide a proper bracket as a more robust option which would avoid problems like this. I actually bought the same product a few years ago for another bike and there was a proper bracket, so the velcro is evidently a cost-saving disimprovement the manufacturer implemented.

Está muy bien pero hay que cogerle el truquito porque al principio me costaba abrirlo y cerrarlo. Se ve muy seguro y práctico,ya que lo llevó incorporado a la bici

Nach langer Recherche für das Schloss von Kohlburg entschieden. In der Handhabe sehr schnell nutzbar und flexibel. Länge bisher ausreichend, könnte für manchen jedoch zu kurz sein. Neue Halterung war bei mir wohl nicht dabei, wurde nach Kontakt zum Kundensupport jedoch innerhalb weniger Tage kostenfrei zugeschickt. Sehr nett! Wurde sofort bei einer 360km langen Radtour getestet, da hat nichts geklappert oder Geräusche gemacht. Halterung wurde am Rahmen festgeschraubt und wirkt solide. Wichtiger Hinweis: Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass kein Schloss der Welt 100% Schutz bietet. Man sollte es den Dieben nur so schwer wie möglich machen und im besten Fall eine Fahrradversicherung haben und dazu ein Schloss kaufen welches akzeptiert wird. Das Schloss von Kohlburg wird es in meinem Fall und für meine Zwecke(!) ist es sicher genug und angenehm nutzbar.
