Is this the same grill joe robinet uses? been waiting for him to release his, but i need a grill soon!

His is the same exact grill but his is 4x10 , this one is 5x9.5. They are both heavy gauge stainless but this is far cheaper. Joe's price is marked up to support his camping trips.

What is the temperature rating on this? Need to cook on really high heat.

it will take more heat than steel.What you are cooking will be black,crispy,burnt,carbon before this melts!!!

can it be used over propane stove?

I've used it over wood fires, and both propane and butane stoves. I haven't had any problems with it warping or anything like that. It is very durable, and in my opinion is well worth the price for it.

Is this sized to fit inside a 50 cal ammo can? I see comments with different sizes than the stated "Product Dimensions: 5 x 9.5 inches".

It's 9.5"x5" So if your ammo can is that or bigger , it will fit. And it's very sturdy too , not cheaply built at all. Good luck
