Homeschool Supplement
My daughter uses an online curriculum but as a teacher, I wanted to make sure she was getting every standard needed for 8th grade. This book slowly introduces concepts that build on one another making each assignment flow. We have used some in the past that have hopped around, this one doesnโt do that. Answers are in the back which is helpful to me as a parent to check my own knowledge on the subject first.

Not comprehensive
Do not depend on this book to TEACH you math. You had better know the rules before because this book leaves out a lot. I bought this with the understanding it was a textbook. Itโs not. On the very first lesson it talks about PEMDA and gives the Order of Operations but fails to direct you that these are done left to right in groups. I had to go online to get the actual rules so I could get the correct answers. What good is a textbook if it doesnโt teach?

Great to supplement Math especially during summer
We bought this for our son during the summer to give him a head start on the next grade. It is a pretty comprehensive work book with up to 200 pages of content. These books are great and we've used them throughout the years.
