Great for experimenters
It performs as expected with the typically terrible performance of a peltier junction. A unit like this is good for maybe one or two cans of cool pop. I learned from this that any sort of active cooling is best done with coolers that use compressors rather than these devices!

Nice assembly.
Works as it should. Functions great and cools the small enclosure I bought it for.

its cool
will it cool down very much space? No, but for 20 bucks this is a neat little toy. It does get very cold, but to make a mini fridge from these would take a several unless you have amazing insulation.

Magic Device.
Always wanted to play with one of these. Seems impossible, but it works!

Poor performance
Quoted 72W Spec of chip is 60W based on claimed chip used. With a $3k research grade power supply the max power in was in the low 30W range (including both fans). In a VERY small (~3ci), well insulated container 5'C was obtained at 12.00V. Increasing the voltage to 14V has no change in current and the temperature increased to 6.4'C

Does not even get cold
Item is either defective or just plain poor design but it is a waste of your money..also heatsinks are sharper than a razer on all edges so wear safety gloves and don't let your kids touch it

Funny
I mean I havenβt tested it yet but just the double screw instead of long screws really cracked me up.

I never used a peltier cooler before. Bought this, installed it in a 20 litre hard sided cooler (made a new lid) powered it up and it lowered the temperature in a reasonable time. Result, happy with its operation. Using it to properly store onions and potato's.

Works even with low voltages, I still didnβt mounted on my system but I can assure that itβs a great product.
