Works well
Bought my car and the hood latch was destroyed and had to ratchet strap my hood to keep it closed. This worked extreme well. My hood is dented and misformed so it was only a matter of time before it messed this one up. I just bought another one and it works perfectly fine. If you have a perfect hood that isn’t all jacked up then you should be perfect. No conplaints from me and I’m on my 2nd hood latch from this company

Was skeptical on this latch after reading the mixed reviews but decided to try it and it did not disappoint. Easy install too!

Not perfect but would buy again
Used this on my 2002 VW GTI because the stock one broke. As far as functionality, it fits and it works. The only issue I have is that the plastic handle doesn’t really stay on strong enough to pop the latch sometimes. Also had to zip tie the line to it because the line would come out sometimes and you couldn’t get the hood to pop. Overall though I would buy it again.

It Fits, It Work, Great Price, and It Came Overnight
This is not OEM latch, but it works, is a great price, and it came fast. What else can you ask for. Granted if I had a R32 Golf, I would pay more to get the OEM, but for a normal Golf, this is great.
