46835 PCV Valve Assembly Compatible with Select Models

I used this on my 2015 Ram 1500 and the fit was perfect. Not the easiest location to install but doable. I replaced my stock PCV valve just because I was doing some 100k+ maintenance to extend the truck's performance. It's been 16k+ miles or 8 months since the replacement and haven't had any leaks or issues. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought on nov and by summer time was failing. Couldn't figure out why i was having hesitation, bucking and jerking during rush hour in traffic. And finally just recently the throttle body light came on and went into limp mode. Flashing lightning bolt and cel for high idle due to the pcv failing stuck open causing huge vacuum leak. Even when new the valve seemed very loose inside. Stay away from this valve.

Heat the end of the hose opposite the PCV valve with a blow dryer so it will soften and attach easier.

I’m sure the product is fine. But I had bad luck. Didn’t even last 10k miles. The “valve” jumped the spring and stuck open. Symptoms were audible vacuum noise from engine bay. Slight stutter when throttle. If you turn on ac at idle it almost stalls the motor. With the finesse and effort this job takes consider OEM product. I went with OEM assembly line overstock for half price found on EB. Posted is a video of failed Dorman vs OEM. Included a picture of failure for science.

Installed on 2015 jeep jk. Bolts fit. Haven’t ran it to see if it’s throwing codes yet.

Good fit, no leaks and seems to run smoother since replacement in 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with 81k. The PVC Valve is right up against the firewall and you are fighting the auto trans dipstick tube and fuel line for space. Overall doable with a bit of patience, and you saved hundreds in labour cost.

Worked perfect and solved my problems. Installed in a 2013 Jeep Wrangler.

Fit on 2014 Jeep Jku. Update: After installed, it works fine till 8/15, then code P0507 P2173 pop up, suggesting vacumm leak; after engine warm up, some loud noise come from engine. Bought smoke tester and no leak found, change throttle body, the noise is still there. After disconnect the PCV hose, the noise is gone. Bought OEM PCV to replace this brand new part, problem solved. Stay away from this item.
