Purchased for my son and he loved it.

Granddaughter (9)loved it! Thoroughly enjoyed quiet reading time with it. So much so I bought her the next 2 books for her birthday

I got this for my 11yo grandson. I always read reviews and if possible a little of the book. I is something I think all kids should like.

My 12 year old daughter read this and the other in the series and enjoyed both.

This book was well thought out. A little sad at the part where she just would keep leaving him. But it’s still a great book.

I have a kid who will read anything and I bought him the first two books in the series because it had great reviews. He tried so hard to read this book. He just did not like it and my child has never not read a book that’s been handed to him. He straight up got those two books and put it in the free community library at the park. I asked him why, and he became uncomfortable and said something about the writing style and the subject matter. I did not read this book nor do I intend to all I am here to say is that my child chose to give it away rather than even continue to try to read it.

The long awaited second book about Jack and Beth on the rooftops of an English town. Their friendship develops as they are drawn into another mystery. Tension and humour. Wonderful elderly care home characters who help and hinder the young investigators! My teen enjoyed it and so did I.
