Eat to Live Quick and Easy Cookbook: A Collection of 131 Super Delicious, Easy-to-Prepare, Incredibly Healthy Recipes for Weight Loss and High Blood Pressure Control by Dr. Joel Fuhrman [Fuhrman M.D., Joel] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Eat to Live Quick and Easy Cookbook: A Collection of 131 Super Delicious, Easy-to-Prepare, Incredibly Healthy Recipes for Weight Loss and High Blood Pressure Control by Dr. Joel Fuhrman Review: "Quick and Easy" is a great resource for anyone, Nutritarian or not. - I have been Nutritarian for awhile now and love finding new ways to enhance my plant-based diet. I have Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live and the first Eat to Live Cookbook. Both have some very good recipes, tips and information on the Nutritarian Lifestyle. This new Quick and Easy Cookbook has taken it all to a great new level. First of all, it is beautiful. There are 131 recipes on 263 pages; that means a wonderful, full-color photo for each recipe. You know just what is it supposed to look like and the photography is first rate. It is divided into 11 Sections from Breakfasts to Desserts. Sprinkled throughout are TIPs that educate about Nutritarian eating and each recipe has the per-serving nutrition information if you need that. I have tried several of the recipes and enjoyed them all, including Berry "Yogurt", Ginger Almond Dressing, Quick Avocado Dressing, Super Simple Hummus, and Lemony Mushroom Quinoa. I'm approaching the Soups and Stews section in a "Julie&Julia" fashion, making one a week! So far, we've enjoyed Buenas Noches Black Bean Soup and Carrot and Red Lentil Soup. Both are delicious. I find this book a real improvement over his first cook book, at least for my husband and me. The recipes have no pretense of being fussy or gourmet and they come together, well, quick and easy! I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to eat Nutritarian, plant based or just want to eat heathier. Review: Love it! Worth the money - So glad I went for it. The complaints from others about the recipes being too simple are exactly what I like the most! Very practical recipes that you can easily make even when tired after work. That is exactly what we need when hungry and no energy! Great pictures and a lot of them. The recipes help to give a general idea of how to eat and food combinations that I forgot about or have never eaten before. Great price and totally worth the money.

Great book. Goes great with the prevention and reverse heart disease book. 2 books saved my life.
Loved this book. Bought this book with his other book on reverse heart disease. These two books changed my life forever. It's been just about 2 months on this plan and it's been a dream. I lost 20 lbs in 3 weeks without exercising. I ate according to the book and I was super strict because I was tired of getting tingling, poor blood circulation in my hands that for the last couple of years seem to never go away. Though a couple of years ago I was able to make it go way but after eating ice cream a few days in a row it came back strong and I couldn't get it to go away again. It was many many months of the tingling every minute of my life when I said I don't want to think about dying at age 48, so I got 3 books, 2 from Joel Fuhrman and I love his books. So informative, easy to understand, and simple to do. The recipes from this book are just that easy and delicious. After you read why to eat this why this book explains what to eat and how much plus all of those wonderful recipes. I made so far only the shredded carrots and that was awesome and delicious! Looking forward to trying many more. I read his other book 1st then a couple if weeks ago I started reading this one. It's an awesome book. The details of what to eat each day are written in this book then 131 recipes to help you make them. I needed this information to be able to succeed in fully reversing heart disease and all other illnesses. I've never felt better in my life. I fit into my clothes that I haven't wore in 20 years. All my clothes are big on me. I have to get a new wobedrobe. My blood pressure use to be 140/93. After 1 1/2 months I checked it and it was 106/77. How great is that! Plus I feel great too.

Save time and money with healthy recipes
The recipes look look good. Some look great! I appreciate the photos. It was a bit odd to see a section with a few non-vegan recipes. If Dr. F. published that cookbook today, I’m not sure he would include meat. I will not be trying any of those recipes. I will try ALL of the non-meat recipes.

True to its title: Easy, healthy and delicious recipes
We are on a whole-foods plant-based diet as a family since December for health, animal well being, and environmental reasons. We've seen amazing results in very little time. I am an experienced cook and have numerous cookbooks. I am very picky about additional cookbooks to add to my bookshelf. I heard interview with Dr. John Furhman at this year's Food Revolution Network annual summit and became a fan instantly. I received this book yesterday and made a meal today using his recipes. What a hit! I made 1) Mushroom, Onion and Pesto Pizza (page 233), and 2) a salad with Strawberries Balsamic Dressing (page 67). Almost every page I turned to, I want to make that recipe. The recipes are simple yet refreshing and will add tremendous interest/twist/fun factor to whole-foods plant-based cooking. Many of my other plant-based cookbooks seem to have similar concept. Dr. Furhman's cookbook is much more "with it" and interesting. The book does have some recipes that have a small amount of meat. It does not bother me at all. I can easily omit or substitute. Dr. Furhman made it clear that in these recipes, meat is a minor player to complement plant based ingredients. If there is one disappointment - and it is not a deal breaker whatsoever - it is that the picture quality is not as high. I have over 100 cookbooks and am used to seeing spectacular food pictures. Again, I would still give this book a 5 star for the quality of its recipes. I am an experience cook and do not depend on superb pictures to judge a recipe.

J'aime beaucoup l'enseignement du dr Furhman, mais son livre de recettes n'est pas très appétissant. Je ne trouve rien de tentant à faire. Déçue

Quite a lot of specialised ingredients that I don't normally keep in stock, but healthy all the same. May find some hard to come across in our grocery stores. Measurement are not common in Australia, however, easy to adapt.

Ok ma ... Niente di sorprendente e immagini un po’ datate. Mi aspettavo di più

Like the photos that go with the recipes. I was also happy to find a chapter on small additions of meat to recipes as it makes it easier to eat healthy meals with my hubby (omnivore) and I can make The other recipes for myself.

Simple recipes and good flavor combinations. Good suggestions for main dishes.
