My son was so excited when I showed him his new bed. Quality of the chalkboard around the sides is Sub par put the bed itself is great. The shelves were a little different than expected, but they still work and they’re not connected to the bed itself so you can switch them around how you like.

Purchased this cool bed for my toddler. I love the storage space it has under the bed! My son uses it as a baby cave lol I also love the chalkboard aspect. We are able to incorporate fun time before bed. There are a lot of pieces to this bed so be careful when setting it up. Also, my order came missing a step for the ladder however, my son is pretty tall and does not need both steps. Overall, this bed is wonderful, sturdy, and really cool.

Absolutely love this bed and so does my grandson. He feels like a big boy in his loft bed like his cousin. But it's not too high, waist high for us so easy tuck in. It was easy to put together - lots of pieces, just follow the the directions. We did drill pilot holes for the slats for under the mattress to make it easier to screw them in. But with both me and his Mom working it took only a few minutes to do that. Probably 1 1/2 hours total. That includes the 2 bookcase for under the bed. We put one at the head end, by the bookcase he already had and the other at the front so it's like a little closed in cubby underneath. I'm sure he will love that feature as he gets a little older - who doesn't love a hideout. The gray is great and matched with the repurposed dresser and chest that we did in chalk paid for his nursery with dark dray and blue drawers. The chalk boards are too slick for chalk to work well, but we didn't plan to let him use them that way anyway. VERY sturdy and will last him till he outgrows it.

Looks good, pretty easy to put together but some of the pictures in the instructions we confusing…for me anyways. Out little boy loves it though.

very cute bed, but assembly is difficult. the screws need pilot holes drilled or else the wood starts to crack and split no matter how slow you go. these are not pre-drilled so do it yourself or be prepared for disappointment.

Perfect size and good quality for a kid.
