Music Alley 3 Piece Kids Drum Set with Drum Sticks & Drum Throne Seat

Don’t walk run and buy these drums!! My 4yo loves it! He has been on it for hours literally at least 6 to 8 hours straight only a 30 month intermission. It’s it’s very good quality and it’s surprisingly sounds like an adult drum. In my opinion he could use this drum will into teen years!

I love the drums and so did my 3 year old. It’s a great size for a small toddler. The sound is good and didn’t need much tuning. It’s easy assembly and the black is pretty and shiny. It’s definitely age appropriate for a 1-4 maybe 5 year old. And easy to adjust. However, the screw become loose very quickly and the top of the foot pedal kept flying off. The foot pedal itself bent pretty quickly and high hat or cymbal stand kept falling down even after tightening. My husband is a drummer and did as much tightening to it as he could but they screws never stayed in place. My son’s set broke after 1 month.. if that!

My grandson loves this set, its the perfect size foe him and the professional look of the set is good. The stool is adjustable which is a good thing. It was easy to assemble. It is sturdy and a 5 y/o is playing them.

Arrived in a compact box, so we were able to wrap it for our great nephew. He is turning five and wanted some drums. Once he opened them, they were easy to assemble (took maybe 20min) and they sound pretty good for a kids first drum set. They are tunable, within a range. Overall they sound good - loud and appropriate sounds from bass, tom, and snare. He was thrilled, and after the initial out of control wailing he settled down to work and started trying patterns and alternating licks, just experimenting around. He would play for 15min or so, then go play with other toys, then come back and play some more. Well worth the money, IMO.

This is great and my son loved it but the quality is poor. It pretty much lasted 6 months before the pieces to place the drums to the metals came loose and unfixable. It’s now a only one drum set as the other ones can’t be tighten again.

I can’t express how happy my 2 year old is with this drum set. He plays them every day! The quality of the drums are great for the price! I do have a few recommendations though. 1. Watch your young kids around these. My 2 year old was able to unscrew a bolt on the pedal and started sucking on it. The pedal is a total choking hazard for young kids so we put the base pedal in hiding and only take it out when we plan to play. Granted he’s the son of an engineer so I’m not surprised he is disassembling nuts and bolts at 2. 2. Before assembling, use a wrench and tighten the nuts inside the drum where they connect together. If you don’t they will come loose. No manufacturer is going to use lock tite, so over time you may need to readjust the nuts/bolts inside the drum. I think many of the negative reviews on amazon are from People who expect absolutely no maintenance with a musical instrument. 3. Like any drums, you can hit them hard, but they will dent with abuse. Make sure your kids aren’t just whacking them as hard as they can. Even professional drums are not going to hold up to that kind of abuse For the money though I am extremely pleased with this drum set. They might require the occasional bolt tightening like anything else, but they’re made with pretty solid quality and I’m impressed!

Easy to set up. Realistic look, just like a professional set of drums! My granddaughter and all her friends love it! Even the parents enjoy watching the little ones play. BTW, there are products to help muffle the noise, but why would you want to??

Assembly: should be easy. One of my bolts didn't screw on easily when mounting one of the skins on the kick drum. They're typical hardware problems. Fortunately it would screw enough to hold sufficiently,so I didn't make a deal out of it. Took like 15 minutes. Value: excellent. I could see my toddler enjoying this for a couple of years. Sturdiness: the toms mounting mechanism looks like a typical drum set, but with a toddler, I don't know how long it can hold tight in one spot, as toddlers will frequently lean on the drums, and hence loosen and wear away at the mounting screws. Still, it should hold enough for a couple of years until it's time to buy a larger kit. Overall: highly recommend, the kit has real playability, the drums and cymbal all sound pretty nice!

I ordered this item for my grand daughter who will be 3 yrs old very soon. We very satisfied with the item and the delivery time. The bolt with two locking nuts which should have been supplied to secure the foot pedal large drum stand was not supplied with the item. It took some time to figure it out and finally managed to get a small bolt, a washer and two nuts to secure the pedal.
