Shewee Extreme - Nato Green

When I first saw this device, I was really skeptical. I was worried about how much practice I would need before -ahem- field-testing it. I am prone to impromptu road trips to beaches and such and there is nothing worse than having to try to squat behind a sand dune. I tried this out once or twice without clothes, and a couple times with clothes, home, and now I'm sure I could use it anywhere, with any outfit, without having any unfortunate accidents! I love that it has a carrying case, and the extension hose means that I can "aim", which will surely be helpful, if I want to write my name in the snow someday (or aim away from my feet). I cannot recommend this highly enough. It is foolproof, leakproof, and nearly eliminates the need for wiping, although I would carry tissues or something as a personal preference and shake out the funnel part before putting it in the case, of course.

What an awesome little gadget! I'm no stranger to peeing in the woods, but bought this several years ago prior to attending a two-day outdoors class with no bathroom facilities -- and with my classmates all being men -- because I was kinda dreading the inevitable. With this gadget, though, I was able to quickly duck into the bushes and relieve myself without needing to struggle out of my pack, get my pants down around my knees, worry about accidentally peeing on my pantleg or shoes, or any of the other pitfalls that can make a lady's wilderness bathroom breaks in mixed company a time-consuming and/or stress-inducing experience.I just recently bought another Shewee because my original one didn't come with a case or the extension tube -- the case definitely is a plus. Otherwise you have to carry it in a plastic bag, which is neither discreet nor as well-sealed as the case. The case does make it a little bulkier, though, and slightly too large to stick in any pocket other than a large cargo pocket. I haven't had a need to use the extension tube yet.Like many other reviewers, I REALLY, REALLY recommend practicing with this a few times before leaving home. Sounds silly, but it took my body a couple tries to accept that it really was ok to pee even though my pants were still on. Plus it took me a few times to figure out the optimal positioning in relation to my anatomy so there was no leakage or dribbling. Once you have that worked out, though, it's smooth sailing. Great product!

Best invention ever, and best money I've ever spent. I don't know how I survived without this thing. Working outside with a crew of men, sometimes in sub-freezing temperatures, you don't want to have to pull your pants all the way down to relieve yourself. This thing is great for cold days, activities that involve wearing a lot of layers, and saving yourself some dignity on hikes or if you're on a long road trip and have to use a port-a-potty or go by the side of the road. My only complaint is that using it more than once a day means it might still be a little wet unless you wipe it off with something. It might be bigger and doesn't collapse like the Go Girl, but do you really want to have to squish a Go Girl back into that tiny container after you've used it? I'd rather not touch it, thanks. Plus the rigidity means fewer messes when you're using it. I would recommend practicing at home and possibly in the shower once or twice before using for real though. I haven't had any problems using it, and it has been a life-saver more than once! Cleaning is easy - I just use soap and warm water when I get home and leave it to dry over night.

I was excited to get this product in the mail. My husband purchased it for me for our first camping trip together. When it got to our house I was super excited. I like the carrying case and the color. Great quality. However, there is no way I would be able to urinate in this tiny thing. I am a big gal and there is no possible way this would work for me. We ended up buying a different product that would be better suited for a gal my size. I did not return this product, I have a sister who is petite that loves the outdoors and I think it will work great for her.

I bought this mostly for winderpeeing and i love it! Ive used it a handful of times and its awesome. I thought it would be hard to use because its so small, but it really does work. I practiced the first time in the shower but even then i didnt have any dribbles out the side. I kinda just nestle it in there and it stays. I can even use it hands free (I have bigger thighs and a little pudge so that prolly helps it stay in place). It took a little getting used to to actually PEE with it but now it comes more naturally. I use port-o-pottys frequently and often theres flies in them and I always worry about them flying up my butt (im sure they wont but you never know! haha) and I'm excited to use this and not have to deal with the disgusting toilets.BTW. I bought this for a paintball game I play each year where you stay on the field at all times all day. Finding a portopotty on the massive field is sometimes difficult. The pants I play in are bulky and make wilder-peeing even more difficult than it already is. I bought this to make that easier. I'm sure it will be very helpful! :-)Only thing is that I still feel the need to use a piece of tp and wipe. I might be able to get away without it, but I just feel like it leaves a little too much left behind to not wipe. Not a huge deal tho. I'd give it 4.5 stars if that was possible for this reason.

if you are, or can get, familiar with your anatomy, this is seriously handy item to have while camping, hiking, or even on a road trip. take it up a notch: go to the hardware store and buy a couple feet of slightly narrower tubing (take your shewee tube to the store with you to check for a tight fit), to extend the shewee tube. then, whenever you need to go, just put the shewee tube on the shewee cup, and the other end of the now-extended tube into an empty water/soda bottle (trucker style)- no mess, no fuss, no need to step outside your tent or camper or car. and i haven't tried this yet but, depending on what you're wearing, i bet you could even do this sitting down. neat trick, this shewee thing!note: i also bought the 4-pack of a similar but soft, silicone-like product, because it was so cheap and i wanted to compare, since i never tried this at all before. don't buy the soft 4-pack- they are thin and very soft and the cup is floppy-wavy, impossible to snug up and catch every drop. just sayin'.

I have a bladder disease: Interstitial Cystitis, therefore I need to urinate a lot, (ie on dog walks in my neighborhood, at the beach, during car rides, you name it). Squatting in public is just not an option anymore. Here are my needs: Discretion is key, comfort, usability and performance are also top priorities. I ordered "Go Girl", "Shewee", "Wiz Freedom" & “pStyle”. I tried them all right out of the box, without a “shower trial”. Initially I used my own home bathroom, standing over the toilet with my pants only as far down as discretion would allow. I also tried them with jeans, bicycle shorts and yoga pants. Here are my results:Shewee- When I used this product I had urine on my clothing. I tried using it 3 times with the same results. It’s very bulky and therefore not discrete, The clear tube must be used because the green funnel isn’t long enough to exit the urine safely away from the body. It is made of hard plastic, so it will not collapse during use but still needs 2 hands because it’s so long and narrow you need to hold both ends. It comes with it’s own caring case, which is a plus. The part of the funnel you hold next to your body is extremely narrow, the funnel itself is so narrow if one was to release a large volume, quickly, I think it would overflow. You also need to wipe afterward because if you try to wipe yourself with it, it’s just to narrow, plus now you have 2 plastic pieces that are also wet (besides yourself and your clothing). This devise is generally hard to use, indiscrete (dark green…really?) and bulky both to carry and use. I would give the Shewee a rating of 1 star. I expected more from REI.Wiz Freedom- Out of the package, first try worked fine. It’s flexible and therefore needs both hands to keep it in place and prevent crimping. This devise was not very discrete, anyone seeing you from the side would wonder about this long bright pinkish-purple thing sticking out from between your legs. It doesn’t come with a carrying case and I couldn’t figure out how on earth I would carry this discreetly in my purse or use it in an emergency. It also stays wet and there’s the issue of self-clean-up, since you are wet after use. At least it doesn’t wet your clothing so, I would give this 2 stars.Go Girl- no leaking on first try, more difficult with elastic clothing due to the flexibility of the product, good discretion, you do need to use both hands to hold it tight to your body and keep it from crimping. I liked that it folded in half- and I could fit it into a small iPhone case on my waist when not in use! I didn’t like that there was still moisture in the devise and on my body when I finished, and therefore needed to wipe myself and figure out what to do with the paper. I would give this product 3 stars.pStyle- Worked great out of the package. Just the right length, the color option of semi-clear lavender makes it discrete as well. Because this devise is made of semi-flexible smooth plastic with rounded edges you can effectively use it to wipe yourself, when you are done. By gently pressing up and away from yourself, you are virtually dry- the last few drops go out the end. If you shake it, the pStle is virtually dry. as well If you want to really get it clean, just use a little water from your water bottle to shoot down the spout. If you buy the caring case you can pop the pStyle in there quickly and easily, and carry on without any fuss. The case just looks like an eyeglasses case and is totally washable with a Velcro closure. The case also comes in a blue-jean material, it can be hung on a belt loop or on the outside of a bag, purse or backpack with it’s mini carabiner. Because it is semi-ridged it requires only 1 hand in the middle to hold it in place— it won’t collapse. It also will not overfill or back-up because it is not a funnel, it’s more of a half-pipe. This is the only one I use now. I would give the pStle 5 stars, with a BIG thank you to the people who designed and distributed this product.

I love this thing and use it all the time, comes in super handy for road trips. It's easy enough to use although I *definitely* recommend practicing. If you don't get the positioning right, well, you're gonna have some pee pee pants and that's not awesome.I wash it by hand and/or rinse it out after every use. I use mine so often my kids want one too, because who wants to drop trou and expose your butt to the world when you can just unzip, position the Shewee, and get your business done standing up by the side of the road?I also like that it comes in a discreet case so nobody knows I have a FUD in my purse if they happen to peek in. I don't use mine without the extension tube (although it says you can...) but with the tube you don't get any "overflow" or "splashing" which I have had on other FUD models.

Endlich eine Pinkelhilfe die so funktioniert wie sie soll!Ich benutze Shewee nun schon seit knapp 3 Wochen und das mit Erfolg!Bin begeistert und möchte dieses Utensil nun in keinster Weise mehr missen.Selbst mit angezogener Hose klappt es ohne das etwas daneben geht. Einfach Hose auf, Unterhose zur Seite schieben und dann Shewee platzieren.Ich weiß um ehrlich zu sein nicht wie Shewee original angesetzt wird, aber bei mir funktioniert es, wenn ich es "innen" ansetzte und die untere/ hintere Spitze etwas fester andrücke. Die äußere Schamlippen umschließen dann Shewee.Hat gleich beim ersten Versuch geklappt und seitdem ist nix daneben gegangen.Vorher hatte ich Pibella und bin damit überhaupt nicht zurecht gekommen. Ist um einiges kleiner und ging oft etwas daneben. So das ich mit der Zeit mit dem "Laufen lassen" und "sich entspannen" Probleme hatte, da ich immer Angst hatte, dass etwas daneben geht.So setzte ich jede Hoffnung in Shewee und wurde nicht enttäuscht.Selbst bei großem Druck geht nix daneben. Ich fühl mich sicher und gut aufgehoben.Ich denke aber auch das jede Frau, die eine Pinkelhilfe benutzt, so ihren Favoriten hat. Ist halt sehr individuell.Das mit dem Reinigen ist kein Problem. Einfach so, wie schon vor mir beschrieben und wenn kein Wasser vorhanden, dann Taschentuch nehmen, trocknen und in die Box verstauen. Wer will, kann auch dort eine extra Tüte hineinstecken damit die Box nichts "abbekommt" und diese zu Hause entsorgen.Wenn jemand Luftlöcher in der Box vermisst, damit diese gut nach dem Reinigen trocknen kann, nimmt den Bohrer und bohrt 2-3 Löcher oben und unten rein. ;-)Ich habe mir das Grüne bestellt, weil es unauffälliger ist und rosa nun wirklich nicht mein Ding ist. :-)Nun kann ich ohne Bedenken auf Konzerte, Festivals, zum Wandern und auf öffenliche Toiletten gehen!!!Und meinen 3 Töchtern werde ich es zu gegebener Zeit auch empfelen.Traut Euch einfach Mädels....ist nur zu empfehlen.

My girlfriend (who spends a great deal of time outdoors at night, indulging in a spot of photography) casually mentioned before Christmas that she could do with one of these to avoid getting her bottom out when answering nature's call out in the wild. I did initially think I would buy the She Wee as a comedy present, but I quickly realised it looked very useful indeed. Even more exciting was the fact that it was available in this nice serviceable NATO green, as not all of us want our accessories to be styled in the manner of Barbie and friends.The advice apparently is that one should practice using the She Wee in the shower before venturing outside; my girlfriend said that basically, as long as you hold it firmly against one's nether regions (with no pussyfooting around) then accidents should be few and far between.

Ce produit prend trop de place. Le rangement est énorme et rigide. Très dur à sortir dans un lieu public.

Like most women I have problems finding a loo in the open and this solves the problem neatly. After a try I got the hang of using it standing up and look forward to trying it outside (well sort of).I do not find the plastic sheds the urine as has been stated but a good shake gets rid of most of it and as it is sterile it will not be harmful. Anyway it will go back into the container and can be given a good rinse at home.This is a good product just needs practice and a bit of confidence, thoroughly recommend it. Very liberating.
