Hamilton Beach Easy Reach 6 Slice Countertop Toaster Oven

The little oven that could! After using this oven for 2 weeks I am very happy. Today I baked a bundt cake that turned out perfectly. Love the way my toast looks (use the lighter setting for raisin bread) and the broiler works great for hot dogs and smoked sausage. I also like the way the door opens. Very pleased with the purchase!

Hi , I regret having to write this message , but feel obligated to do so because you have been so kind & professional in dealing with the first problem. I have tried to contact Amazon but cant, tried to contact the manufacturer but they don't let me thru in email because the choice of town & state are not in the drop down list, its only for USA . I don't think the toaster is compatible with the UK electric . I bought a brand new adapter for the 2nd toaster the best I could buy on Amazon , but to my dismay & disappointment the same thing happened as did with the first one , all the heat bars got hot INSTANTLY... I had it set on bake 325* to preheat & timer 45 minutes to bake , in less than a minute the bars turned dark the oven cooled down & that was it , exactly the same as the first one, I do remember the one I had in Michigan took about a couple of minutes before bars turned red . I have 3 small appliances that I brought with me when I moved to UK last August they all work with all 3 adapters … (( I hope my explanation will be of some help I think it maybe give them an idea of what went wrong )) I had assumed the toaster would work, it did say available for UK. I am letting you know so you will not have it available for UK so you wont have the same problem & I am so sorry to say I wont chance ordering it again , I am in a wheel chair & it was easy to use because the door opened up & back … no burned wrists , forward doors too difficult for me . Will you kindly let Amazon & the company know about this problem. Also I have two box's waiting , the man who delivered wouldn't take the first one even tho my email said he would . I can bake & broil make great toasted sandwiches from my chair , feels good to bake a home made pie in a compact oven . No problem returning they sent a shipping label with easy instructions. This is a basic toaster oven and works well in that capacity. It's replacing another basic oven that we've used for 15 years, and we just wanted a bit larger one, for limited counter space. We've used this for 3 weeks and have done the following to test if it's a keeper: - toasted bagels - heated tortillas and pizza slices - baked mini baguettes, cookies and brownies: had to drop baking temp by 25 degrees to avoid burning, prob because the heating elements are so close to the batter - roasted root vegetables I can't speak as to frozen pizza or any frozen foods as my family prefers the microwave for that stuff. What I love: - analog dials. Not a fan of digital screens on things that get very hot. - the door lifts up rather than swinging down, which is great if you have almost no counter in front of the oven. - the crumb tray is very easy to slide out for cleaning. What's ok: - temperature seems to be variable, in that it heats up extra hot (set it at 400, it went to 450), but then settles and stayed closer to 375. There are 4 heating elements total, 2 above and 2 below, so it heats up quickly compared to our old toaster oven. - The timer max is 30 minutes. I don't know if that's the norm, but for certain things I need to reset for another cycle. Small inconvenience for me, maybe a deal breaker for others. Also, because it's analog the timer audibly ticks away time, which some reviewers didn't like. I don't care, doesn't bother me. One thing I'm not loving: the top of this gets really really hot. It's not insulated at all on its roof, so you need plenty of space between it and the cabinet above. Our old oven was well insulated and got hot, but not yikes! kind of hot. We're keeping it, because it does what we need it to do. The price is fine for what it is, we definitely didn't want to spend > $100. Obviously longevity is the question, will it last 15 years like the last one (which still works, giving it to family)? Hopefully.

This “Hamilton Beach” toaster/oven replaced a smaller model HB toaster/oven that was used on a daily basis. Was very happy with it and decided to upgrade to a newer model after the upper coil quit working and half the bottom coil wouldn’t work. Very pleased with my choice. Toasts evenly and reheats my leftovers very well My only issue was with Amazon! The factory box was wrapped in clear plastic and shipped, instead of placing the item inside a plain brown cardboard box. The whole world could see what was sitting on my front porch after delivery. Glad I was home when it was delivered! I realize that double boxing could be viewed as wasteful, but my $100 purchase was a prime target for porch thieves!

I cooked a 12in frozen pizza in it with a 12in mesh pizza pan. This cooked the bottom of the crust perfect. It wasn't warped after baking like what usually happens when you cook a frozen pizza directly on the oven rack. I think it distributes the heat more evenly, the bottom crust is crispy instead of dark and crunchy, and the edges aren't as dark and crunchy either while the toppings/cheese still get a little browned the way I like it.

I have been using this exact model for YEARS. I am on my 3rd one now- not because of quality issues, we just use them a LOT. I love the size, it’s perfect for making frozen pizza in. This really serves as my household oven for everything and because of the size I am able to make pretty much anything I want. The door opening up from the bottom is a wonderful feature- it allows me to take things out and put them directly onto the counter rather than having to maneuver around a hot door. I like that it’s old school non digital dials- I can’t tell you how many digital appliances just stop working because the little panel quits. This one is a trooper. The only caveat I have is that the outer casing can get VERY hot. Don’t leave anything on top of it or around it while cooking that can melt, because it will. My cat learned the hard way not to jump on top of it while it’s on because she got her little feet burned.

The controls are easy to understand and use which makes it safer. It a great quality product. There is a small light inside that makes watching your food easier. Its a toaster oven so it doesn’t do the same thing as an air fryer.

Love it! It's a little smaller than my last 6 slice toaster oven, but the smaller interior space means the compartment warms up quicker. The light gray color is less visually bulky than my old black one. And I really love the door opening upwards instead of down. I am an elderly clutz, and always spilling things and the glass on the door always looked awful.

I purchased this to replace a Hamilton Beach 31512C that was fine, but suddenly stopped heating after 15 months. I bought an open box for around CDN 68. Arrived new without a scratch in a random box, with nothing missing, so it was a good deal. My main use is as a countertop oven, and it works well for that, and heats better than the 31512C even without convection, but I'm not sure I'd be happy if I mostly used it for toast, which takes longer than indicated on the timer. Can't store unused trays on top of the oven because the door swings up and over, however it's easy on counter space for that reason, so evens out. Main concern is the recommendation to unplug it after each use, which isn't practical for me, as it's plugged in behind the fridge. #YOLO

Está super bonito la verdad, amo el sistema de la puertita que se levanta y tienes acceso total al interior del horno (sobre todo para la limpieza), viene con la charola para hornear y una charolita extra para los residuos de comida que puedan caer, y aunque la temperatura sólo viene en °F pues hacemos la conversión y listo, es muy fácil de usar. Contenta con mi compra

No es muy grande pero realmente no es pequeño, quiero decir que lleva al menos 6 tapas de pan blanco acostadas en la parrilla y es como un tamaño medio, es cómodo pera poner en algún lugar de la cocina y que no estorbe, funciona correctamente para tostar y solo que si se quede tostar parejo hay que quitarle la bandeja que también trae para que se dore por arriba y abajo!

Gran capacidad , no transmite el calor hacia afuera del horno , muy facil de regular y limpiar . Agradable diseño . Comodidad al abrirse la puerta hacia arriba a diferencia de los demas hornos . Buena relacion precio / calidad.
