Does this seat have the extra hooks that strap to seat?

No. Uses the car’s seat belt system. Look for a booster seat that attaches using the LATCH system.

Is this FAA approved?

I’m almost sure it is only good as a booster seat for an older child.

Does it attach to car with car seat hooks or just sit on the seat?

This will just sit on the vehicle seat and be used with the vehicle lap/shoulder belt.

The strap for the headrest part of the booster seat does not have a clip like the others on the back of the seat. The 2 top hooks are not hooks. Help

I don't find this booster to be a safe product. It slides and tilts all over the back seat even with the shoulder strap in place
