But I’m so glad I spent my money on this rather than a $70 apple dongle! Cause it does everything I want it to do. — I know some people came here for the HDMI port, so I have a video showing how it mirrors to my monitor seamlessly and with no lag/flickers. I’ll be honest, at first it did but I guess it was just connecting and it’s all good now. Just give it a couple seconds!! 💗 iPad: If you’re an artist/creative using programs such as CSP, Adobe, etc. these apps typically allow you to use short cuts keys. Just connect to your keyboard and it should work :) —- As an artist, this device is sooo helpful. Prior to buying this, I was using a USB-C to USB and it always slowed down my work. Due to having to remove it, wait for my laptop to charge, and then plug it back in again. I regret not getting this sooner. Don’t be like me, buy it!

Somewhere in my apartment there used to be a graveyard of single-purpose adapters — one for HDMI, one that only did USB-A, a card reader I bought for a single camera trip in 2019 and never used again. This thing replaced all of them and I felt a genuine, slightly unhinged sense of victory throwing the rest in a drawer I plan to never open again. The HDMI output pushes a real 4K@60Hz, no flickering, no "technically 4K but it feels like a suggestion" nonsense. Hooked it up to a monitor and it just worked, which after a lifetime of dongle disappointments felt almost suspicious. 100W passthrough charging means I run this as my single point of contact between laptop and wall, and it hasn't complained yet. Card reader is fast, USB-A ports handle a mouse and a drive simultaneously without any of that "unrecognized device" theater. Great dongle over all. Would recommend this dongle to anyone.

Ended up working very well with my computer. Ive had this for 2 years now. The weight in your hand is very light, making it easily portable. The versatility for this product makes it substantially easy for me to use. Compatibility is super easy with a single plug in to my computer. The durability is strong. Heat is easily not a problem. Thanks to the design layout, it’s very stability-like on any surface.

Revised down from 5 to 4 stars due to USB-C connection not working after 1 week. I don't necessarily need it as my computer has 1 free USB-C port available so I can just use that, but it is odd that it initially worked and now does not. Not worth returning since what I mainly need it for is working. Earlier Review: Works as described, immediately, and looks nice. Comes with alien themed stickers which are cute but I personally won't use.. Micro-SD card must be inserted upside down, but not hard to figure out because it doesn't go in properly the other way. I bought this brand after buying a different brand that didn't work. I'm very happy with how this brand looks and functions.

This is a very lightweight, small-footprint device that adds multiple ports to the scant few that are available on the MacBook Air. Because of the small screen size of that very portable, powerful machine, anyone who does financial or other business work on their laptop needs extra real estate and the HDMI port on this is one of the main reasons to use this. But critical to the value of the HDMI that allows expansion or mirroring is the power connection that would be otherwise occupied by the HDMI interface. Add to that the SD and microSD card slots to augment the SSD storage on the MacBook Air, as well as the 3 high-speed USB A ports (v 2.0 and 3.0) and you have the ultimate lightweight port expander for a traveller or office-hopping techie. I did have an issue of intermittent connection with the hub but the manufacturer gave me a couple of diagnostic procedures and when we'd confirmed that the source of the problem was the original hub we'd received, LENTION replaced it at no cost.

This is just what I needed ! No complaints and the quality is great.

This USB cord was a fan favorite for school presentations. It’s so easy to carry and it is highly durable. It holds my camera storage card to send photos to my computer for editing, but it also connects my computer to presentations for school. It’s a short cable and very easy to use. It had type C compatibility and functions for servers different scenarios as mentioned before. The lighting of its pink color that I chose ended up being a little darker in person than on the picture, but I absolutely love this product!
